Selected this cruise based on a great casino rate & perks plus port within an hour of our home. The ship is showing some signs of its age and in need of some refurbishing but it was clean, had a fun casino, plenty of dining options and chill vibe. All of the staff no matter which bar, passing them in a hall/lobby were friendly. All of the bars were fantastic but during the day, we never left the Red Frog Rum bar. Our bartenders- Louie & Michael were fabulous! No complaints about food, especially in the MDR. So many folks complaining about Carnival food, slow service, etc. but we did not feel that way at all. The servers & food both good. If I didn't like what I ordered they willingly brought me something else. We tried Davids Steakhouse as I was comped this meal by casino and it was exceptional. It was as good if not better than any Ruth Chris.

Cabin Review

We had an AFT cabin deck 5. On our balcony, this is where you could really tell it needed some refurbishing on the deck rails and if sitting, you couldn't see through well to enjoy the ocean. Also there was only one outlet. My bed had a lump/spring that was bad, but other than that, very well kept and clean.
