Carnival Panama Canal & Central America Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Panama Canal cruise was awesome. Emma Nixon was the best cruise director ever. she is a bundle of energy. Awesome energy. Anoma and her wait crew were awesome in anytime dining. Room steward was awesome also. Food was very hot and good. Chefs table was a very interesting experience. Panama Canal was very interesting to watch. Carnival was awesome as always. The Freedom is one of our favorite ...

This cruise was so great in many ways, but a few bad things made it rough here and there. Personnel: I've never really cared one way or another about Cruise Directors, but Ms. Emma Nixon was spectacular. I wish I could have her on every cruise! She was everywhere at once, and I'm not kidding. We would talk to her one minute and then go somewhere else and she would have beat us there, always ...

Panama Canal Cruise..... Ship definitely needs an update

We chose this cruise strictly because of the dates and itinerary. We made a big mistake and would never choose this cruise ship again. First of all, we booked last minute, so we were very limited on a balcony cabin to choose from and all of them were obstructed view. But because it was on our anniversary and we wanted to see the Panama Canal, we just booked it. The cabin was ok and we knew ...

Drove to Tampa on Friday and Stayed at the Quality Inn Cruiseport.Airport. Reasonable price for stay. Room was ok and breakfast was actually good. Good location as many eating locations are close and shopping around it. Seemed like a secure area. It did provide a shuttle to cruiseport and I think had a park, cruise shuttle at hotel. Sat drove to port and parked a Cruise4Park. reasonable price ...

Panama Canal cruise satisfied our bucket list

We wanted to see the Panama Canal which was the best part of the cruise. The canal portion was well done with an on-board historian who explained the building of the canal as we passed through various locks. The two land tours were a waste of money. Limon, Costa Rica was a depressing and dirty city. Nearly all the residential homes had not only iron fencing around them but there was razor ...

We chose this cruise because of seeing the Panama Canal. The Miracle is a small ship by today's standards. The embarkation at the Tampa port was long and tedious, taking an hour and half to get aboard. On board, there was only on place to get lunch at the whatever it's called buffet. A friend wanted a sandwich from the station that makes custom sandwiches. It took him 35 minutes. I ended ...

Very Tired Ship

Chose this cruise for the itinerary only. Ship was only superficially clean, poor maintenance overall. We had a balcony cabin and could see rust on the davit that held an emergency boat , worried that it would not hold weight of passengers if an emergency. 1 woman collapsed during safety drill, crew stood frozen and were unsure what to do- passengers assisted her, took approx. 15 minutes for ...

Chose this cruise for the itinerary--Limon, Costa Rica; Panama Canal partial transit; and Grand Cayman's beaches--and to share a cruise with my cousin and her husband. One of the best itineraries since my husband and I enjoy our sea days. It was eight days. Love Carnival's Sea Day brunches. Staff was friendly and always helpful. The Carnival Miracle is a beautiful ship, and I could see some ...

We chose this cruise because of the port of departure and the destination (Tampa to Panama Canal with ports of call in Costa Rica and Grand Cayman Island). Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly. We had a fantastic time. We loved the ship. It's beautiful and has a cozy, warm charm to it. The food and service were superb. We especially enjoyed the Alterr Band in the Red Frog Pub ...

Consideration for handicapped passengers is necessary and appropriate, consideration for nonhandicapped passengers is also necessary. During debarkation and shore excursions utilizing tender boats, handicapped personnel with family members (if they choose to accompany the handicapped person(s)) should be attended to "after" the non-handicapped passengers have deboarded the ship/boat. This ...
