We booked a group of about 26 to go on this cruise. The majority of us are avid Carnival customers and sail annually. The food, service, cleanliness, and attitudes of some of the staff members made this a terrible experience! Never doing Carnival again! I had made a reservation at the steakhouse but cancelled it because my granddaughter & her parents jumped on onboard last minute. The steakhouse ...

We took this cruise so that our seven year old grand child could go. We had a party of 6. There were our daughter and her soon to be husband, the grand son and a 55 year old friend of our daughter. Boarding was fine and orderly. Our room had my wife and I along with the grandson. The room was a balcony 8-378 with a bed and a pull out. We noted the room was warm upon arrival. We adjusted ...

Glory Disappointment

I cruise about once per year (Carnival, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean), and the Glory was my least favorite cruise. We sail with children, therefore always sail during "busy" times when school is out. The good parts were: * The staff were very friendly, although seemed overwhelmed at times. * Carnival has the best comedy clubs of any line. Other lines may have a comedy club once or twice ...

So you think a cruise sounds great. So did I. Well, here is assessment for you to make an informed decision. First, the staff is amazingly friendly. Truly nice people looking to make your trip as good as pleasant as possible. We had 5-8 ft seas and high winds most of the way to Yucatán. It really wasn’t a bad ride at all. Don’t worry about the waves unless 10ft plus. Here’s where the ...

We booked this trip as a weekend getaway for a bachelorette trip. It started off terribly. Trying to park at the New Orleans port was a complete disaster. We arrived before we were supposed to board but spent almost an hour and a half in standstill traffic.. then to be told we had to turn around and go to overflow parking and take a shuttle. We were treated unkindly and yelled at- all while just ...

Food quality and bar service have gone down hill

We chose this cruise to celebrate our honeymoon. We paid for the faster to the fun and the cheers drink package. I had cruised on the conquest before and had a great time. This time we had poor service from bar tenders on the lido deck as well as from servers in the piano lounge. The faster to the fun was not worth it. They said we would get to our rooms faster and our luggage as well. We ...

Ship Wasn't Up to Expectations

We are one cruise away from being Platinum Members on Carnival, plus we've sailed on NCL, Royal Caribbean, and Disney, so we're pretty versed in cruising. The embarkation and debarkation process was easy, fast and appreciated. We sailed for a New Year's Eve cruise with some family friends (which was the best part of the cruise). The onboard shows were very good. The onboard trivia coordinator ...

Disappointing

We chose this for a family vacation, and unfortunately did not have a good experience. When we arrived our cabin that was "ready" had a pile of dirty sheets on the sofa, the sheets on the bed were stained, and the crib we arranged to be in the cabin was collapsed on the side of the wall. We needed to call housekeeping twice for new sheets for the bed, and a sheet for the crib. My husband ended ...

CARNIVAL...NEVER AGAIN!!!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

We are 3 members of a family who sailed on the Glory from Miami to western Caribbean on December 30, 2017. We have been on many cruise ships over the years and had sail Carnival several times before. The Glory is an old ship. The staterooms and public areas are dated and in desperate need of remodeling. Our cabin number was 8384. Dated, and noisy at nights because the Lido deck with pools and ...
