Traveled with children

We took this cruise so that our seven year old grand child could go. We had a party of 6. There were our daughter and her soon to be husband, the grand son and a 55 year old friend of our daughter.

Boarding was fine and orderly. Our room had my wife and I along with the grandson. The room was a balcony 8-378 with a bed and a pull out.

We noted the room was warm upon arrival. We adjusted the thermostat and found it made no difference. We called guest services and nothing happened. We notified our room steward and nothing happened. We called again and they sent someone out to measure the temperature in the room. 75. No horrible, just humid and no AC. It was cooler outside the room. The guy who measured the temperature indicated he would have the AC people come look at the system. The AC tech never materialized but our room steward did give us a fan.

No AC nor would they attempt to fix. Got us a fan. One power outlet. At disembarkation there were many fans being brought out of rooms. This suggests my room was not an isolated event.
