We live near the port of Miam, and we decided to do a family cruise so price was important. The ship is old and looks it. It’s not taken care of. We saw ants in the buffet dining room our cabin smelled like sewage the first day. We asked the steward to see why he could do about it, it seemed like he just cleaned it because by the middle of the trip it smelled like sewage again. The cruise ...

Terrible Cruise

Carnival Glory Cruise Director and Entertainment were terrible!!!! Have been on several cruises - this was a big disappointment. Cruise acted like a Mama’s Constantine referring to his Mother pretending to receive calls from her while on stage. Not funny!!! Drove it into ground. The entertainers were great dancers but terrible singers. At our evening dinner table we all agreed that this was the ...

"Glory" Days Are Gone

I chose this cruise because it was a gift and 10 family members were going. My sister and I were in Cabin 8453 - in the back. We liked the interior cabin because it was quiet, well away from foot traffic. Our cabin steward was extremely nice and polite. The cabin air conditioner was always on the highest setting and the room never seemed to cool down, especially after opening the front door. ...

Food quality and bar service have gone down hill

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

We chose this cruise to celebrate our honeymoon. We paid for the faster to the fun and the cheers drink package. I had cruised on the conquest before and had a great time. This time we had poor service from bar tenders on the lido deck as well as from servers in the piano lounge. The faster to the fun was not worth it. They said we would get to our rooms faster and our luggage as well. We ...

This was a girls cruise. I’ve been on Freedom and Liberty so I’m familiar with the conquest class ship. This cruise made me realize that Carnival is no longer for me. Personally I feel Carnival needs to evolve on all levels especially entertainment. I’ve since cancelled Breeze . Embarking was easy where as disembarkment was terrible, Carnival blamed imagination but it wasn’t , it was ...

Ship Wasn't Up to Expectations

We are one cruise away from being Platinum Members on Carnival, plus we've sailed on NCL, Royal Caribbean, and Disney, so we're pretty versed in cruising. The embarkation and debarkation process was easy, fast and appreciated. We sailed for a New Year's Eve cruise with some family friends (which was the best part of the cruise). The onboard shows were very good. The onboard trivia coordinator ...

Disappointing

We chose this for a family vacation, and unfortunately did not have a good experience. When we arrived our cabin that was "ready" had a pile of dirty sheets on the sofa, the sheets on the bed were stained, and the crib we arranged to be in the cabin was collapsed on the side of the wall. We needed to call housekeeping twice for new sheets for the bed, and a sheet for the crib. My husband ended ...

CARNIVAL...NEVER AGAIN!!!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

We are 3 members of a family who sailed on the Glory from Miami to western Caribbean on December 30, 2017. We have been on many cruise ships over the years and had sail Carnival several times before. The Glory is an old ship. The staterooms and public areas are dated and in desperate need of remodeling. Our cabin number was 8384. Dated, and noisy at nights because the Lido deck with pools and ...

NEW YEARS EVE CRUISE ON GLORY

We were a group of 8. 4 adults and 4 children ages 11 8 4 and 2. This was my 2nd time on Carnival and the first time for all others. I felt like this cruise was extremely crowded. There was no space to walk around the ship without worrying about losing a kid or getting separated from your group. Crowds every where. Deck chairs on sea days were never to be found and Chair hogs were out in ...

Disagree with their Definition of "Fun"

We chose this cruise because of the cost - hoping to get good value for the money. What we got was a "cheap" cruise in pretty much every sense of the word. First of all, the positives - embarkation was smooth and efficient. Our bags were at our stateroom by 1:30pm. One of the onboard bands was incredible. They played 50's - 80's rock, and were among the most talented musicians we've seen. ...
