Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

And the service keeps dropping

Being asked if I wanted my stateroom tended to in the morning or the evening was odd to me. Really set a bad tone for this cruise. Part of going on a cruise for me is to be spoiled including my stateroom kept tidy early when I'm at breakfast, after my nap and while i'm at dinner. Just a really weird thing to come back to my room mid afternoon and still not having my bed be made up. The dining ...

We really like the blue and yellow colors on the Breeze. The cabin doors were a treat also, really liked the wood look. When we first met our room steward, he told us he had 35 rooms to take care of and wanted to know if we wanted morning or evening service and did we want turn down service. Told him we could turn down the bed, and to make it easy on himself for the room service. Tipped him ...

Just returned from our Spring Break trip on the Breeze and loved it! We had cruised on the Magic last Summer and had high expectations and we were not disappointed! We were a little nervous as this was the last cruise before dry dock, but we saw no evidence of this during the cruise. We had a Spa Balcony cabin on deck 11 and loved the location and the little extras for being a spa cabin. The ...

The 100K slot tournament was the reason I did this particular cruise. I usually love Carnival but this trip wasn't as much fun from the start. Needed to use their travel services because of the slot certificate and was sorely disappointed. They made not one, but 3 major errors with our airline tickets and couldn't understand that there were 3 different times they made errors and not just one. ...

Not my favorite boat....

I was very excited to sail on this boat, after reading numerous reviews and being in FB groups where a lot of cruisers said this was there favorite boat by far. I could not wait for my chance to sail on Carnival Breeze. I was quickly let down and disappointed. Normally when I get on a cruise I am in love with the atrium, this boat left a lot to be desired. It uses more mellow tones and I ...

This is a great ship for families. There is lots of activities and area's for all ages. This was my son's first cruise at 15 and he is somewhat timid. The club for 15-17 year old kiddo's was a great place for him to meet others his age while doing fun activities. We had a 2nd floor balcony and the temp was a little warm for us in the room. There was a rope course, mini golf, movies, water ...

This cruise was chosen as it was my Dad's retirement cruise. he brought his three adult children and brothers with him. I enjoyed every aspect of the cruise. I did two excursions; one in Montego Bay and one in Cozumel.I booked my excursions through Carnival and loved the tour guides. They were a wealth of information. I wouldn't have had as much fun with just a point and see tour. I went to ...

Consistently good cruise despite activity changes

I have been on 20+ cruises and never have a bad time, this cruise was fine as well, and we had great weather. Embarkation went pretty smoothly, we were able to access our cabin at 1:30 and it was clean and had enough space. We had a cove balcony that was really nice, close to the waterline and we felt NO movement of the ship despite what I read with other reviews, They did reduce some of ...

I have been on many many carnival cruises in fact i have been on 18 of them and on many of there ships, I was so disappointed with this ship first there was not an adult pool and there were so many kids that you could not even get in a pool and the hot tubs were all filled with kids even on the serenity deck the hot tubs were crammed with people. The deck chair were so dirty with stains and dirt ...

We booked this cruise in November 2016 as a quick getaway. We live close to port, so driving to Galveston and parking at the port adds very little cost to our overall cruise total and makes for a fast and convenient trip. This was the 5 night sailing [sea day>Cozumel>Progreso>sea day]. We were originally booked on the Liberty, but following her propulsion issues in November/December, they ...
