The 100K slot tournament was the reason I did this particular cruise. I usually love Carnival but this trip wasn't as much fun from the start. Needed to use their travel services because of the slot certificate and was sorely disappointed. They made not one, but 3 major errors with our airline tickets and couldn't understand that there were 3 different times they made errors and not just one. From completely deleting one persons tickets, name correction issues and then rebooking one person on the wrong date we just couldn't win with them but luckily United did get us on all flights. They tried to compensate for the first error but were horrible about recognizing the others. Even the bus transfer didn't go as we were told.

The Breeze itself went into dry dock when we got off - it was time! Various things kept breaking down in the spa so we couldn't take complete advantage of our spa pass, the cross trainers in the gym couldn't be programmed and trying to get help was impossible because the guys were always getting paid for classes/workshops and couldn't help.

The communication on the ship was also terrible. We never did receive the notification of the Mix & Mingle and only 6 people showed up - I was told others weren't notified either- so things weren't done as usual at the event and those 6 were disappointed as well..

The cabin was fine. Everything fit well except there is no longer any conditioner in the shower. Steward flaked a little the first two nights but made up for it the rest of the cruise by working hard on our room each evening remembering the towel animals and leaving us things we requested like extra towels/pillow.
