This was our third Transatlantic cruise with Carnival and by far the worst. If this had been our first Carnival cruise we'd never set foot again on a Carnival ship. The cruise got off to the worst possible start and never really recovered to an acceptable level. It started on a sour note with Embarkation and finished on a sour note with Disembarkation, the bit inbetween was only slightly ...
The only good thing about this trip was our room attendant! He was on it and got everything that we needed. But everything else sucked! All I can say is stay away from this ship. Very unorganized and confusing! Staff was rude. Dinners were awful! Buffet was cafeteria food! If you had a question you couldn't get it answered! Getting off the ship was a nightmare! I will never go on carnival again! ...
This was our first time on a Carnival cruise -and it was our last time. Never again. We have been on many other cruises. This one had no decent shows, overpriced excursions that were a complete waste of time and money, and everything was so unorganized!
The photos taken by the professional photographers were very poor quality and extremely dark.
When we got on the ship I went to book an ...
The ports of call were incredible. We especially loved Tallinn, Estonia. The ship was ok. We enjoyed the main restaurant. The entertainment was not really for us and we found it to be all too repetitive for a 12 day sailing. Only about six movies made it into the dive-in movies lineup. They were mostly superhero films which we were not interested in. The movies in the rooms were also pretty ...
Day 1: We arrived onboard around 1pm, I am disabled and a little needed help boarding the boat, no lines and they totally ignored me. I asked 3-4 Carnival emplyees entering the terminal and they just ignored me and waved me through. I made it up the ramp with the help of my son (thank goodness). We went right to our cabin and it was dirty, there was a dirty black line down the center of each ...
Lack of being able to contact somebody and speak to them about queries.
Our travel agent advised us to look on Carnival website. We did this which was confusing on occasions as Covid testing requirements in one place just said a covid test and in another stated a PCR which was a lot more expensive.
Check in was quick and efficient, probably due to filling in details online prior to boarding ...
We have 40+ cruises under our belts. Our back to back cruises on Carnival Pride were the worst ever!
EXCURSIONS: Poor planning, standing in long lines for 1+ hrs, excursions cut short due to preventable delays leaving the ship.
FOOD: overcooked/undercooked and frequently served luke warm or room temperature and... one-time I was served eggs at refrigerator temperature.
RESTAURANT ...
From start to finish this holiday was awful and caused me more stress than I ever want to experience again.
Before going we had to fight for every bit of information, we couldn't plan anything as we just couldn't get the information we needed.
On arriving on board I was very excited as so many people had such great stories about cruising, only to find an old, tired and worn ship that had ...
When we first boarded we experienced horrible service. Workers were rude. If you look too young to be able to buy anything they will treat you like you are not even there. So make sure when you are talking to the workers you put on a nice dress and a diamond necklace so that they will treat you with respect. The detail on the avtivities on the cruise were misleading. Dont trust anything that says ...
The Carnival organization should be recognized for its ability to take a brand new ship and reduce it to a floating tribute to poor food, bad service and mediocre entertainment.
The food was cheap, overcooked and boring. The only possible exception was breakfast where Carnival staff had nothing to do with boxed cereal, yogurt and some fruits. Toast was dry and cold. Eggs were immersed in oil. ...
