Carnival Eastern Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Valor

This was my wife and I first cruise, and we went as a group with my parents and a couple siblings and their spouses, 8 of us altogether (we all had our own rooms, of course). This was a vacation, so no kids, haha. I had read all of the reviews for the Valor and wanted to give a detailed review of our experience, as I found those to be the most useful. Day 1: Sunday, November 16 - San Juan Our ...

Almost Splendorific

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Splendor

This review might be a little biased, After cruising Carnival for 27 cruises, I know what to expect, and what needs to be understood, and what needs to be changed. This cruise hit the mark on all of these three points. I am the first to say that a cruise is what you make of it, You only get out what you put into your adventure. So with an open mind, packed bags, and a cruise price that was so low ...

Love the Liberty

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Liberty

The Liberty is a fine ship I have been on 8 different ships and I found the Liberty to be clean and well laid out. The new 2.0 upgrades were nice . I HATE THE NO SMOKING POLICIES I get a balcony just so I can smoke and now that has been taken away. This will be the single biggest reason I do not book a future cruise. I am already booked on the Sunshine in late February in an aft cabin. I like ...

One of our better cruises

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

This was our fourth cruise and the second cruise on the Glory. It's a much improved ship after the 2.0 renovation. Much better use of deck space with the Serenity decks and usable basketball court, volleyball court, and miniature golf course. Embarkation was a breeze. We took the transfer from the airport and walked onto the ship immediately behind the "Faster to the Fun" people. So glad we ...

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The Good, We arrived at check in and moved swiftly through with wheelchair assistance around noon. Our steward was actually cleaning our room as we arrived at cabin 9287, he was great, our luggage arrived around 4. sail away and the drill went smoothly. The staff, from everyone we intacted with were fantasic. DW enjoyed her spa treatment and shopping from DH winning $700 on quarter slots. We ...

A very pleasing Maiden Voyage

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Freedom

We took our first ever cruise on the Carnival Freedom. With nothing to compare it with I can only speak about this experience but we have no hesitation in recommending it. Right from boarding - which was easy and painless - we found the entire cruise to be a most relaxing and pleasing experience. We had taken a cabin on Deck 11 (Spa) which had very few other cabins around it. As smokers we were ...

We stayed at Country Inn and Suites at Port Canaveral the night before the cruise because they offer a very inexpensive park and cruise package and provide a shuttle to the Port. We arrived at around 12:00 and there were no lines so we were on the ship by 12:30 and could start eating that wonderful buffet. I didn't care for the lemonade. It was very tart, but I soon learned to mix one third ...

OK, But a Little Tacky

This was a repositioning cruise from San Juan to Miami. We had back to back getting off the new Getaway onto the Splendor The itinerary on Carnival was excellent visiting 6 ports. The ship was nice but could use some updating. We got a suite with jacuzzi tub, worth the extra after a long day of shore excursions.Entertainment on board is lacking. Nothing to do and the shows they did have were not ...

GREAT DESTINATIONS

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

This was a great cruise, you never know what your going to get when you travel a lot. This was our 17th cruise with Carnival and the last time on the Glory was a miserable experience. On this trip we used the new tunnel to get to the port of Miami and it was incredible, straight into the port and no traveling into downtown with the back roads, traffic and stoplights. No toll. Dropped off the bags ...

Walkin' on Sunshine for a week!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

The Carnival Sunshine... Overall, our cruise was wonderful! We arrived at Port Canaveral between 10:00 - 10:30 a.m., and with Faster to the Fun, we were through security, check-in, and into the waiting area is mere minutes. We boarded just after 11:00 a.m., right after the wedding party, diamond, and platinum cruisers. It didn't take long before we'd dropped our luggage off, and made our way to ...
