Carnival Barcelona Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Fantastic Fun Ship great cruise along with a great crew. Matt the cruise director was everywhere. The itinerary had everything you needed to suit all cruisers, the ship had it all for family fun. The waterworks were just as good as before the Skyride was fun and gave great views. The red frog pub was a great hangout Ed Carr the singer was brilliant. The playlist productions were put together ...

My first review of a new ship

I love new ships and couldn't wait for the Carnival Vista. My difficulties with the ship are really ship specific. Between the forward elevators and the atrium there is a significant hump, approximately 4 inches above the floor level. It is finished with a metal track that causes a constant problem when walking between the atrium and the elevators. The eight forward elevators are totally ...

Royal Caribbean better but good holiday overall

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Carnival Vista

just returned from 12 days on the Carnival Vista. This is our 4th cruise and our first with the Carnival. The ship is new but does lack the wow of the Royal Caribbean, it a fun ship rather than an elegant ship. The layout is a bit confusing but by the end of the cruise we had mainly cracked it. The Cruise Director has definitely got what it takes to add fun to the adventure and reminds me ...

A fantastic experience but we have learned from this cruise such a shame

The ship was huge, needed a sat nav to find your way around. Sailing was a very exiting experience The cabin was awesome Dining wasn't all it should have been, not enough staff to be efficient, had many problems with the service due to staff shortage which let the customers down. Entertainment was ok, Matt was great, not enough shows for families Despite the staff being very ...

It's probably easier to list the pro's and cons of this Carnival cruise.... Pro: -Embarkation onto the ship was absolutely fine/seamless. -Lovely staterooms, nice and spacious (had a balcony room) -Lots of things to do, especially for children and teens -Food varied and to a good standard Cons: VERY rocky on what seemed to be calm sea Very busy in communal areas (seems more ...

Sights of Europe in the hot summer, with great comfortable cabin to relax in.

Embarkation went smoothly - short wait in the hall due to the queue. Ship was brilliant, obviously still quite new, staff very friendly and everywhere cleaning all the time. We had an inside cabin for 3 which was fine. More than enough room for us to hang out and storage. Turned the TV on each morning to view the webcams to see the view. Dining very good, tried MDR, buffet and speciality ...

Outstanding Cruise - Excellent Ship

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Carnival Vista

We are long time Carnival cruisers, this being our 22nd cruise and all but 2 with them. Thus we had a pretty good idea of what to expect and Vista did not let us down. While there are some big changes from the normal layout, we adapted easily. The lobby is not the normal Carnival towering space, but a high tech LED display and only a few decks high. I did miss the atrium and its glass ...

Perfect cruise from start to finish... Bravo Carnival, Bravo Vista

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The new ship is great. The skybike, ropes courses, waterslides, etc, etc. are fantastic and the lines were short even on sea days. The IMAX and thrill theatres were a hoot and very reasonably prices (although the IMAX popcorn was a disappointment). The food in the MDR was wonderful if you knew what to avoid (obviously ordering a chicken breast dish would ...

This is my 3rd Carnival cruise, prior to this we had completed one Caribbean cruise on the Breeze and one med cruise on the Sunshine. I have also cruised on the Disney Magic in the Med. I have to say I was very disappointed in this cruise. It has been 2 years since I took my last CCL cruise and I feel that cutbacks in terms of staffing and food have materialised. The ...
