Fantastic experience from start to finish. The new ship is great. The skybike, ropes courses, waterslides, etc, etc. are fantastic and the lines were short even on sea days. The IMAX and thrill theatres were a hoot and very reasonably prices (although the IMAX popcorn was a disappointment). The food in the MDR was wonderful if you knew what to avoid (obviously ordering a chicken breast dish would result in a dry piece of meat, and fish would be overcooked due to the nature of the service). Had Anytime Dining. Service was fast and friendly in the MDR. Some folks who ate every night after 8 said they had a wait and slower service, but if you knew you wanted to eat at 8:30 every night and that your excursions would be done every day by then, I am not sure why you didn't sign up for fixed late seating. The Ji Ji Asian was amazing, a must do. The Chef's table was a phenomenal experience and highly worth the $75. The staff and workers were friendly and attentive. My deluxe oceanview cabin on the Deck was quiet as could be and had lots of storage space. The second bathroom was indispensable.

Folks got obsessed over the Serenity deck, to the point where they started to take their Duvets off their beds and sleep on the loungers all night to get a seat. I found a seat late in the morning on 2 days and found it to be as far from Serene as possible, with people tripping over your loungers, kids checking on their parents, and music from the Lido. Thus we spent a few minutes exploring and found 2 decks at the front of the ship that had dozens of empty loungers even on sea days, no music, and a constant nice breeze. On the last sea day while people were piled 2 deep on every lounger in Serenity and Lido we had an entire deck at the front of the ship to ourselves. Took a picture to show everyone. I guess most people follow the herd.

Guest services lines were almost always empty (with the exception of the first day people looking for impossible free upgrades, and last day people wanting to remove the gratuities to have the crew work for free)

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View

Cabin 6L

Deck 1, quiet as could be. Cabin layout with second bathroom was perfect. Window was clear and at a nice level above the sea. Wouldn't have traded it for a balcony at the same price.

Port Reviews

Dubrovnik

Take a cheap cab to the old town. about 15 euros I think? A real gem.

Sardinia

City bus to Poetto beach. Easy and beautiful.
