There are management problem on this ship!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

This was our second Royal Caribbean Transatlantic crossing and what a contrast. Our 2018 trip was a real pleasure. This November 2022 cruise was plagued by mistakes. Almost every day there were last minute changes, conflicting and often duplicate scheduling of events on the ship. Repeatedly, crew made no seating or staging preparations for events. The Cruise Campus was a mess. Examples: Oe ...

Well, where do i start. Ship is old and states that it had refirbushment. Well that may be but it still looks old. Our room balcony had been touched up with paint. Paint was over furniture and on ground. Obviously dont know about drop sheets to protect everything. No entertainement, as in broadway style shows that i have been on with Carnival and NCL (which have all been excellent). No comedy ...

sorry to say the service and food at the main dining room was very very poor the daily activities seemed for nursery tots. The music and singers around the ship were made for nursing home entertainment. They sang and played the same things all through the crossing. Now to say that the royal caribbean dancers and orchestra were very good as always.Their shows were very good. The movie ...

Old ship and uninterested crew

This cruise had good reviews but now I realize the reviews are from Royal Caribbean lifers. FYI if you have kids the ship attracts a majority of older people. There was only 1 main dining room aside from the buffet. I felt pressured to pay extra to eat at the specialty dining rooms because the salespeople were always standing at the entrance to the buffet. Cleaning was poor, I found false ...

Was so looking forward to cruising with royal again, so disappointed with the staff! From top to bottom of the employee release, on board as well as corporate. All issues fell on deaf ears!!! What a disappointment. Was treat always like the customer was at fault and needed to prove our case. The mold in the hallway and public places were outrageous. The whole staff looked and acted like "if we ...

To celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday.....we ordered room service breakfast for the morning of her birthday and mimosas to enjoy on the balcony hung the order on our cabin door....almost an hour and a half went by we called room service. No clue where our order was when the breakfast did arrive it was atrocious....very poor indeed. The ports of call were poorly described Nice was not Nice but ...

This was our 12th and probably last cruise on RCL. we have cruised 14 times, including 5 times on the Brilliance of the Seas. Overall, the decline of Royal seems precipitous. As their ships get larger, everything else seems irrelevant. We had an enjoyable three days in Barcelona prior to the cruise. Embarkation was fairly quick, as we are Diamond members. I would note that overall, they ...

We chose this cruise due to the ports of call that it offered. Of the seven destinations offered, two were changed before the trip, one being the port for the Florence/Pisa leg of the trip (the main reason we chose this cruise was to see Florence in particular). Sadly the alternative port offered was La Spezia which made the trip into Florence difficult and we missed out on what was to be the ...

12-day Mediterranean cruise

Guest services were a disappointment and not courteous at all. We had a problem that was not handled in a professional manner by the staff and the guest services manager even refused to talk to me about my complaints. Be prepared to be nickel and dimed for every little thing on board as you are a captive audience. The children's adventure was amazing and they had a wonderful time. The ...

The main dining room was the only thing that we liked about this ship.

The food in the main dining room was really good, especially the beef. This is our fifth time cruising and our servers in the main dining room was the best we have ever had. They were very thoughtful and proactive fixing any issues. The food in the WindJammer cafe was just not good, especially lunch -- every day the menu looked the same and the food was just American food. Breakfast and ...
