1. Very speedy embarkation process in Boston. We arrived at about 1:15 pm and curbside to cabin was less than 15 minutes.

We chose this cruise because of the convenience of leaving from Boston and the islands to be visited. The ship is very easy to get around on and the staff is pleasant. Some areas of the ship are in need of repair. So, we've been on The Jewel of the Seas before, and it was fine. Signed up for this one because of easy access to Boston, and we love Bermuda. We've been there several times. Checking in was easy and the ship was nice. A little frayed around the edges here and there but no big detriment.

My compliments to the chef in the Windjammer Café. The food in the buffet was excellent!
We never bothered to eat in the main dining room as the service is so slow, but the buffet was great (varied menu every day, including lobster on the last night).
Kudos to the Music Maker 4-piece band as they played the best dance music on the ship!

The Serenade is a nice smaller ship,,,
not as well kept as it should be. A little dirty in some places.
The Internet is terrible,, can't log on,,doesn't stay connected,,and so slow,,,,,,, with staff only available at certain hours,,, not worth the cost !!!!
