First you are not fighting 3000 other passengers to get a view or take a photo. The second cruise after the dry dock, and they were still working on the ship! No washers or dryers, painting the baseboards, areas on deck partitioned off with plastic, food not that well presented or tasty. We sailed on the Journey for a Panama Canal transit and it was wonderful! It was our first time on Azamara. I was a little nervous as it was "a luxury line" and we are just two unassuming retired folks. We found our fellow passengers down-to-earth and unpretentious.

Sailed on Azamara Journey through the Panama Canal , from Caldera, Costa Rica to Miami in early January, 2016. Service was , as usual , excellent. Ship was clean and cared for, the last sailing before the much anticipated dry dock, when there will be much upgrading.

Just came back from our cruise, and it was more than I expected. I had read some of the reviews, and since this was my first time on this ship, I was a little worried. Our experience was great. I'll tell you the negative first. The shower stalls are very small, but the amenities are good. The excursions from the ship did not appeal to me and it was expensive, as is the spa.

Been on Azamara several times. The brand is in the luxury market and priced accordingly and, in this light, I think it has slipped from its original standards. Out of 35 previous cruises this was the worst .RCCL should be ashamed . The crew of the Ship tried their hardest but couldn't overcome the fact that this ship was not ready to sail as a luxury cruise . it was just out of drydock and it wasn't finished .
