Crew – 5 stars, Food – 4 to 5 stars, Ship – 4 stars EMBARKATION – in Aruba – a long walk from where the cab drops you off to the yacht, because only the big ships get front docking. They have a shuttle, but we elected to walk our luggage, so that was a bit hot in the blazing sun. Covered tent at the gangway with someone to check off your name and label your bags that the crew will take to your ...

Decided to try Windstar after liking the smaller ship experience on Viking and Azamara and Viking River. Overall, the food was very good, the crew friendly and eager to please however we started off by delaying our sail away by a day due to "two small holes" in the hull that required underwater welding. We have 4-5 companies that we will cruise with and then select our ship based on the itineraries that match the interests and schedule of my wife and I. Windstar has long been on our list of cruise lines to try, but ...

We had a balcony cabin on level 8. It was in a great location for us. Just up one Level to the Lido deck. The food was great as usual. The Matrie D was the same one we had on our first cruise. He was great and told him so. The staff was attentive as usual. We loved the 2.0 upgrades. Our favorite was the serenity decks. The lower deck was always full and crowded, we just went up to 14 and enjoyed ...
