We chose this cruise for the ports of call, time of year to take advantage of long sunny days and the well spaced sea days. We were very happy with all our ports of call with most having free shuttles to the city (except Edinburgh) and the ability to walk into town less than 15 minutes.

Our cruise was 28 day, Transatlantic & Baltic itinerary. From boarding in Ft Lauderdale to leaving the ship in Copenhagen everything went well. The cabin stewards were attentive, the wait staff in both the Lido and MDR were exceptional. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary that included the Panama Canal and Cartagena. We were not disappointed. Embarkation was a breeze. My only cruise experience was with Renaissance back in the 90s and I hated it. Decided to try again, and my sister and husband are 4 star mariner and loves HAL, so we went along.
