Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Miracle

Enjoyed this ship overall. One of the best casinos/dealers I’ve experienced although the drink service there was virtually non-existent. Pools need to be refurbished. Cabin was in excellent shape for an older ship. Tampa was one of the smoothest embarkations ever. Did not care for the entertainment on board. Never found a singer or band that knocked my socks off. If you want a ship for the tall ...

Dumped us on the dock and did nothing to help us make accommodations after Cruis

Some friends were going so we went on this cruise. Our trip to the West Caribbean was cut short when hurricane Dorian first formed. They informed us we were not going to Cozumel and heading back to Tampa. The only thing they did to help us make arrangements for when we got back early was make us pay for internet. So far the only thing they have refunded me is about $50 for gratuity charges. They ...

This was my 7th cruise with Carnival. I usually cruise in the spring, but this time chose to go in August. We were able to snag Faster to the Fun, so embarkation was pretty easy. I went to the gym on the first morning and it was super packed and I never went back the rest of the week. Nelson, our steward was very friendly and made us comfortable. Our room, however, smelled like sewage on and off ...

Family Cruise, a little disappointed compared to other cruises on Carnival

We had been on this same cruise route before but w a different ship. This cruise w the Carnival Miracle just felt way too crowded compared to the two other cruises that we have had. The layout and the flow of people was way too congested especially around the Buffett and the pool area & to see any shows you had to get there at least 30 min early. When we started out from Tampa to Cayman ...

Let me preface this review by disclosing that my wife and I are Platinum Level with Princess so that is our comparison. Although we were only Ruby level, the boarding process was quick and easy we arrived for our appointment right on time and were on board by 12:00 pm. We had a suite so we had early access to our cabin. The Lido deck was packed and so was the buffet so we grabbed a burger ate ...

We were offered this cruise last minute because the Vista our of Galveston was canceled. We were offered cruise credit because of the cancellation, so we got a pretty good deal on our first cruise. The boarding process was really simple and we received our checked luggage in a timely manner. If I had it to do over again, I would not hang out on the Lido deck upon arriving like they suggested we do ...

I've cruised with Carnival before, we liked the itinerary, and the price was reasonable. The food was excellent and the wait staff and cruise director were great. Also, we really enjoyed the ship's entertainment. The spa and the showers in the locker room were very nice. The ship itself is pretty warn out. Our stateroom was not clean upon arrival (we found clothing tags, contact lenses, hair ...

We honestly chose this cruise because we booked too late to get the ships and price we wanted out of Port Canaveral. I was very hesitant to book and worried because of the size of the ship. Most reviews were good, but I was concerned it would be too old and small compared to what we were used to (Magic and Dream). We LOVED this ship! There were 6 of us. 4 adults and 2 17 year olds. The embarkation ...

We chose the Carnival Miracle simply because it fit our schedule, driving distance and the price was very good. The only down side was a great majority of the staff seemed disconnected. She's a great ship. I never felt crowded or rushed. The dining room food quality is down from our last cruise only 6 months ago but it was still very good. I only ate the buffet once for lunch. The comedy ...
