We chose this trip because of the dates, the itinerary and because it was round trip from Seattle. My sister and I have little cruise experience, so we weren't sure what to expect. The ship is beautiful and well kept. The itinerary was perfect (although looking back would have liked a shorter time in Skagway and a longer time in Ketchikan).

We always wanted to see Alaska, and the Joy was the ship that we booked on. The ship is very large, and has a huge pool deck area. It also had two huge water slides that hung over the side rails. I chose NCL Joy for all the perks. The ship is beautiful. Excellent service. Housekeeping service is excellent. Overall the ship was kept very clean.
