the Freedom of the Seas : our first cruise 11 years ago was on this wonderful vessel and it still is a beautiful ship with wonderful staff great staterooms a variety of entertainment and amazing choice of fresh food, we loved our second Trans Atlantic sailing which went smoothly.

The food was mediocre. Hope you like Indian food as at least 3 mains Indian daily for lunch at Windjammer. I chose this cruise because of its Port-au- Calls, which I had not visited before.
It was somewhat inconvenient as it sailed from San Juan, PR and we live in Miami, thus had to fly in the day before (the same day flight was leaving at 7 AM and had to be in the Miami airport at 4 AM.. Thus it cost me a one way ticket to SJ plus a night in a hotel plus meals (an extra $700).

Excursion group was not helpful, a waste and reason to choose another ship and/or cruise line. They seemed disconnected / not organized. An view held by many fellow travelers, a disappointment. They get a F.

The price was very good, the repositioning cruise is always longer, which we like. The ship was new to us and most ports we had never visited. We like to do different ships, ports and adventures. Cruise Director..Michaela was one of the best we've ever had
embarcation was worst ever ! RCCL needs to improve their secondary terminal in FLL. Got a sinus infection after walking 150 yards downpour to get to terminal. Completely drenched.
Diamond Lounge concierge (G) was outstanding!

Excellent trans-Atlantic cruising experience on Freedom of the Seas
We just returned from a two week Portugal and Spain trans-Atlantic cruise on the RCL Freedom of the Seas. This was our first cruise on the Freedom and fourth in this class. It was our 40th RCL cruise and 92 overall cruises.

Never tried a trans-Atlantic crossing before. If you don't want to be on the water for 8 straight days, this isn't the cruise for you! That said, it was relaxing and enjoyable. I have always wanted to do a transatlantic cruise and this one was reasonably priced. All of the ports were interesting. I particularly liked Mallorca and Barcelona, where i am staying a few days. Barcelona is a beautiful city and I highly recommend the Hotel Diagonal. They food and entertainment on the ship were great. The Chefs Table special dinner was excellent.
