First the good:
The ship is huge and awesome. Felt like we were in a large hotel. Minimal sway on the “rough days”. Room a Central Park balcony was clean and had plenty of storage. Zero wind and nice music in the evening from the band playing in Central Park.

Just returned from the Symphony of the Seas transatlantic sailing – Miami to Barcelona. We cruise a lot, our third in six months but for whatever reason have not had occasion to cruise RCCL since 2014. Things have changed.

A transatlantic cruise on a new ship, a very large one, without a lot of children on board seemed like a good idea. In many ways, it was a fine experience, except for dining. It is unclear to me how meals could be so bad, how service could be so sloppy to non existent to unconnected.

I have cruised 4 times...3 with Royal.
If your over 45 you will not like this ship as it is absolutely huge with line ups and long long walks for everything. There are charges also for everything but the air you breath! The cruise experience has been watered down too much.
