Our travelling party of four adults (ages 78-70-69-66) previously enjoyed cruising on Allure of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas.

While this is a magnificent ship It had a feeling of cramming and panic upselling of dining. The Rome boarding and disembarking processes were as good as we have experienced - very effficient and little time wasting.

However, very shortly after boarding we were confronted by the first of six salespeople seemingly eagerly attempting to convince us to upgrade our dining option for, from memory, an additional $US150 each - the sales pitch by one was 'You will not have to queue' and each of them promoted getting bonus value through this option. When I asked 'If you recognise queuing as a problem then why not fix that?' the salesperson left. When I reminded the salesperson that we have already paid for inclusive meals which impacts the value of what you are sell the response was unconvincing.
