Grandeur is a smaller ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet. the line is known for their massive ships. if you have kids or are looking for waterslides, roller coasters, ice rinks, bowling alleys. etc. this is not the ship for you. The base cruise fare for my spacious Oceanview stateroom was only $150 which is ridiculously low. We just completed the 9 night Southern Caribbean Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas. The ship may be smaller and "seasoned" but it offers an excellent classic cruise experience. By classic I mean it doesn't have massive water slides, bumper cars or an ice rink -- the main attraction is cruising on the ocean. There may not be all of the bells and whistles but this boat still had enough to do. I would suggest this boat only if you have many ports on your itinerary. If you are at sea for more than 2 days I would suggest another option so you have more things available to do.
