I chose Grandeur of the Seas for an inexpensive bonus cruise before my next sailing in February. I am so happy I did! The base cruise fare for my spacious Oceanview stateroom was only $150 which is ridiculously low. Arrival at the port and embarkation was handled in less than 10 minutes, then a short wait in the gangway and I was onboard. Stateroom 8043 was very spacious, it seemed wider and definitely much longer. Tons of storage space including the bathroom. I would definitely chose this category again. However next time I would chose deck 7 instead of deck 8. There was minor noise from the traffic above in the day. Also chose from the two cabins in this category in the middle, not the two on the sides as they offer complete glass panoramic windows, while the ones on the sides are half wall, half glass. All stateroom corridors, stairs, public rooms appeared freshly carpeted and upholstered, nothing looked worn. Crew were friendly and eager to please. Very short wait 5 minutes or less for my time dining. Wonder waiters, delicious food in MDR and Windjammer. I did not try Chops or Giovanni's on this cruise. Entertainment and activities were excellent and varied. I booked Grandeur for a 9 night in April and loved my time onboard very much.

Key West is one of my favorite US coastal ports. I chose to enjoy the day doing shopping and sightseeing near the ship, there is plenty to do.
A perfect day in Labadee, awesome jet ski shore excursion
