Rashes, Inedible Food, Refusal to let us Leave Early

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

When you go on a cruise, you expect the food to be good. The food in the main dining room and the buffet was horrible. Inedible. My steak the first night was hard on one side (like it had been sitting in a pan for hours). The food was overall flavorless. When eating, I would attempt to find the dishes that could not be screwed up because of how bad the food was. My wife got a rash, and ...

Obviously RCCL is cutting back on EVERYTHING. We felt like the crew is overworked in the dining ro0om with too many tables assigned to them and even though they were trying very hard they were having trouble doing the job they normally do. The same goes with the room attendants, ours was great but seemed to be overworked. The only place there seemed to be enough waiters was the Windjammer. I ...

This was truly the worst travel experience of my long life. We were traveling with 2 other couples, old friends who had not seen each other in several years and we thought we would enjoy a short trip together. One couple had taken 16 cruises and the other 2, me included, had never taken a cruise. We stood in line for over 2 hours to board, when we arrived on the ship, we were given no ...

Worst cruise we have ever taken

This was a prime example of a cruise line, in this case Royal Caribbean, sending an unprepared ship on a cruise just for whatever money they could collect. Horrible boarding experience in Seattle, and was just the start. There did not seem to be one person associated with this ship that wanted to be there, and it showed. I have to amend that, our meal at Giovani's Table was excellent, the rest ...

A horrible experience

As a seasoned cruiser (over 20+) this by far was the worst cruising experience that I have had. It starts with a lack of feeling safe - muster drill was disorganized and a joke. The promenade is overcrowded and difficult to maneuver, especially with music and the long lines at Starbucks. The ship has no provisions for disabled individuals if there was a disaster. The dining room seating ...
