We chose this cruise tour for multiple reasons. Our 40th Anniversary fell during the cruise plus we really wanted to see the brown bears in Katmai National park. Unfortunately the tour was cancelled for weather. We made some good friends on the tour that we hope to keep in touch with. The trip to Denali National Park was enjoyable as well as our train trip back to Talkeetna. The lodge at Denali ...

We wanted to do an Alaska cruise and booked this one. The ship was very nice. It was good to have a movie theater and I watched two movies. We thought that the overall food was very good, even the Windjammer. Probably better than other RC cruises. Funny thing was that I ordered a glass of wine but they did not have the first two wines that I requested! The Cruise Director was terrific and the ...

The Alaska trip on Royal Caribbean was one of our top trips every. My wife and I have travel all over the world and this is one of the most beautiful places on the earth. We can not wait to get back because you do not see everything in one trip. Our greatest thrill was taking our two 16 year old grandsons with us. We bonded and they had a great time. The land tour is a must. A train ride ...

This was the first cruise for our multi generational family group of 6, ranging in age from 10-70. We all had a great time! We stayed overnight in Seattle the night before the cruise and had about half a day to explore. Not nearly enough time in that city, but we hit a couple highlights at Pike Center Market and Seattle Center. Boarding the ship was an experience in itself! It's amazing to ...

Hard beds and terrible food!

Have cruised with RCI before, but not again after this cruise. The ship is attractive, the employees are friendly, and the ship is clean-some upkeep needs to be done. The main dining room (anytime dining) is terrible. Impossible to get reservations when requesting a specific time, food presentation is terrible, food is lack luster (over cooked, no seasoning, limited selections). The Japanese ...

Our family of 7, age ranging from 5 to 61, travelled from Vancouver to Seward on our bucket list cruise. For my husband and I, it was our second cruise, having been to the Caribbean on Adventure of the Seas, but for everyone else it was their first cruise experience. We spent a couple nights in Vancouver prior to cruise, staying at the Rosellen Suites within a couple blocks of Stanley Park and ...

Great Route, Friendly Service, Avg Food - Indian Vegetarian Perspective

Alaska exploration is more about the destinations than cruising itself. You spend significant time off the ship so keep your expectations low vis-a-vis other cruise ships that are more focused on the cruise experience itself. The ship is certainly not state of the art in terms of interior decor but nevertheless clean. Facilities are average - Table Tennis OK, Basketball good, mini soccer field. ...

This was my first cruise, so I didn't have much to go off of, but more experienced cruisers whom I traveled with told me the ship itself was not that great in terms of food and entertainment. I stayed in an inside cabin and had no problem, as I spent most of my waking hours out and about. The cabin itself was nice and clean and my rack was comfortable. However, the bathroom needed a bit of work. ...

We chose this cruise on the recommendations of several people we have met since we started cruiseing just over six years ago. It was also somewhere we wanted to go. We enjoyed the Land tour and saw some wonderful sites and a lot of wildlife, some that are not seen frequently. But the train rides were to ch at times. Luckily we had a good group of people to break up the time spent ...
