i really enjoyed my cruise on MSC Divina in August 2015. I think a person's attitude is the key to enjoying any experience, especially a holiday in a different country, with a different language and culture. My attitude was that no matter what happens I will enjoy myself, and I did, even though I hurt my leg before the ship left port.
Before my cruise I read quite a few negative reviews about ...
My husband and I along with 4 others boarded the MSC Divina in Civitavecchia on the 25th of July this year. Boarding was ok not too hectic. We found the ship very beautiful in décor but almost too big. We were upgraded to balcony on the 9th deck which was a nice treat but we have been on other cruises with much more spacious cabins. We found the cabins on Divina were on the small side with not ...
Purchased the cruise and fly package through MSC and was extremely pleased with everything. I was traveling with my sister, we stayed in an interior stateroom and purchased the all inclusive drink package (worth the money!) Transfer from airport to port in Rome was easy. The only downside was that we arrived at the port around 9am and were not allowed to board the ship until after 1230pm. There ...
This had to be the worse experience ever cruising. The boat was beautiful but the worker's didn't seem to want to be there to help or answer questions. They lost our bag from the start and didn't get it until 4 or 5 hrs later, I kept asking them at the desk and kept being ignored. There is only 1 buffet on the ship so just imagine everyone rushing it all at one time, the food was horrible. It ...
My husband and I and three other couples sailed on the Divina in the Mediterranean this sumnmer. The ship is GORGEOUS and the entertainment is the BEST we have ever seen on any cruise line. There were standing ovations at every show. The staff was friendly, service was good, and this is the cleanest ship we have ever seen - it actually sparkles. Our cabin was very nice - spacious with a nice ...
I want to share experience on this cruise lien . I have been on a few other mediterranean cruise this was by far " the worse cruise ever" i will not recommend this cruise. The ship is nice and well decorated. However the food was horrible. This was my 6th crsie, i am not new to cruising but i had never had such a horrible service. The worst part was to be charged extra even ...
The staff was courteous and could not do enough for you. The dining was great, however I was surprised that lobster was charged for on the European sailing since it was not charged for on the Caribbean sailing. The state room was perfect and it was kept up at all times. Couldn't have asked for better entertainment. The tours were great, but as always there is never enough time, it goes so fast. ...
The "Fly, Cruise & Stay" Mediterranean package on the Divina was absolutely terrific. The ship is stunning - especially the Swarovski crystal staircase. The nightly entertainment is better than any I have ever seen aboard a cruise ship (and I have been on many). We had a wonderful dining experience every night but especially enjoyed the Galaxy restaurant for a special evening. The ports of ...
This was our second MSC cruise... unfortunately it was not as good as the first. We booked this cruise as a final "Hurrah" with our adult (ages 27, 26 and 22) children. They had not ever been to Europe. We have enjoyed cruising in the past and felt that this was the best way to see many locations without having to pack and unpack. The package deal we got was excellent - non stop airfare, ...
This was my third cruise and by far the worst. I have previously traveled Royal Caribbean and Carnival and both experiences were great. When we checked in to board the ship, our room was changed and the check in staff could not give me a reason why. Our bags were already labeled with the previous room number so we had to go immediately to guest services (my first of about 100 visits to guest ...
