Extraordinary dining room service made this first experience with MSC stand out
"Let's face it, most of the customers are, shall we say, ANCIENT; first night, she said before the show, that for some it's their first cruise, but for others, it might be our last!!!Another night, she bad-mouthed some customers from another cruise!..."Read More

Was looking for a little vacation for my wife and I so we both thought Cruise. We used MSC before and it was ok but we thought it was because of all the excursions we did. Free Balcony with cruise so we booked. During booking process I picked a room that would fit our needs and close to where we wanted to be. During check in at the terminal they told us they switch our rooms and called it an ...

After cruising multiple times, my crew decided to try MSC since it’s new to our port. We were excited for the new experience and also for the reviews of low numbers of people cruising, thinking that this was going to be amazing for service, wait times etc. We were wrong- here’s a long list why.. -Most areas closed, coffee bar, beaches, shops, some bar areas -Limited options, beers, ...

We picked the Cruise just because it was so Reasonable. We are used to going on NCL and we are platinum However recently they have been so EXPENSIVE & last cruise in Dec was not the best. So it was time to try something different. Phone Customer Service since we first booked has got a lot better but we were concerned how the cruise is going to be However we went with an open mind and Had a ...

Just got back from our 3-night sailing. WOW! We had such an amazing time. Service was outstanding throughout the ship. The vessel was in great condition. We loved our Balcony cabin. It was very roomy and offered great storage. The folding shower doors are genius. Shows were wonderful. Very fit dancers and great singers. Live music could be found all around the ship. There was something for ...

Why I won't sail MSC again

This was our 2nd MSC cruise. We were on Seaside in November 2019 in the Yacht Club and received future cruise credit when MSC canceled 2 ports without telling anyone prior to embarkation. The FCC and a great sale (Balcony for the price of an Inside) along with a great itinerary made this cruise attractive. A couple of months before sailing I was checking if excursions were up (they didn't get ...

Just got off the MSC Divina and with only 500 passengers I am sure this contributed to the individual service provided by the crew. I did the survey but wasn’t sure how to send kudos to the amazing crew of the Divina. So, here goes: the entire Crew Services but especially Alex from Brazil and Justine from So. Africa. The Crew Services acted out the answers to the movie trivia questions and ...

First off, we’re fairly new cruisers, In our late 50’s and 60’s. We’ve sailed on Disney, Celebrity, Norwegian, Princess and Emerald Waterways. We like trying different lines to compare. We were a bit apprehensive trying MSC because of all the negative reviews, however we couldn’t have been happier overall with this cruise. More on this to come. We managed our own travel into Orlando coming ...

Gordon Ramsey would call out the cooks, explain how bad the plate is and have them redo it.

Had a rice dish with chicken ..bearable,,, until I started to get chicken bone chips in my mouth - they did not section the pieces they used a cleaver into multiple pieces. Another nite .. pork fillets (probably loin) in gravy . . AGAIN these were sawed into flat pieces NOT between the bones at ca. ...

This was my 31st cruise and the most beautiful ship I've ever sailed on. Sophia Loren I tip my hat and heart to you. This felt more like a regal hotel than the cookie cutter amusement park ships currently out there. Embarkation was a quick breeze with only 359 fellow travelers. The crew and staff could not have been more helpful, kind and considerate. Anyone who decides to take a cruise during ...
