i really enjoyed my cruise on MSC Divina in August 2015. I think a person's attitude is the key to enjoying any experience, especially a holiday in a different country, with a different language and culture. My attitude was that no matter what happens I will enjoy myself, and I did, even though I hurt my leg before the ship left port.

Before my cruise I read quite a few negative reviews about food, cabins, staff, but I would rate all excellent. I travelled alone and was assigned a table in one of the restaurants for my evening meal. My table mates were great company, but if I was not happy I could move. All the meals and meal choices were excellent. Most days I had breakfast and lunch in the other main restaurant, I tried room service breakfast one day, and all food was great. I also tried the Buffet, but the hustle and bustle and crowds were not my thing.

There was plenty to do and see but my main aim was to relax and keep cool. My skin burns easily so I did not use the swimming pools and kept out of the very hot sun.
