Landed in Miami the day before sailing and Regent set us up in a very nice luxury hotel for the night. Breakfast in the morning was with other people embarking on the cruise and allowed us to meet a few new couples that we would see again aboard. We explored downtown Miami in the morning and then headed back to the hotel to catch the bus to the port that Regent had arranged.

> We drove to Miami, and the afternoon before we were to embark we got a message from our travel agent that we were no longer going out of Terminal J, but rather terminal F. We chose Seven Seas Explorer as it is described as 'The most luxurious ship ever built"
As we stepped onboard we could clearly see this ship is very luxurious and smart. All the public areas are immaculate and 'upmarket'.

Chose cruise for its all inclusive features. No worry about WiFi charges, drink charges, etc.
Thought the food was excellent, especially the no-res needed Italian Setti Marie. The expansive pool side grill offered many choices in addition to usual burger/hot dog items.
Gym was really nice, stretching across the ship’s beam at the stern. All equipment working and clean.

This ship is supposed to be free WI-FI .More like hardly any wi-fi.Took 4 hours to download a local paper. Could not get e-mail. Want to wish family Merry Christmas forget about it.

All rooms were suites. . It was awesome. Christmas decorations were beautiful. Great Christmas events
We enjoyed all restaurants except Prime 7. Steaks were dry. lobster over cooked. Our favorite without reservations were Sete Mari the Italian and Compass Rose. Chartreuse was excellent on Christmas Eve.
