First cruise after pandemic. Wonderful sailing!

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Grand Princess

1. I chose this cruise for the itinerary: Hawaii with many days at sea (which I love). With the pandemic still on, I felt safer on a cruise with fewer ports of calls. And I had never been to Hawaii, which was on my bucket list. Also, the price was great. Beware: this itinerary attracts lots of older people. I'm 67 and I was part of the young crowd! 2. We had an interior cabin which was ...

This was our second trip on the Majestic in one month. We were on the ship in January with only 850 people. This trip was taken because we can and we did, it was in-expensive. Where else can you go for a week of fun and food and entertainment, for one low price. There were about 2400 on the ship this trip and Princess was a little understaffed. The buffet was still a bit limited, and if you were ...

The staff was go good, prompt, friendly. The Bar staff on the 7th deck at the Princess Live" area were simply delightful. Jorge from Peru, and Marista from? Thank you to them. Our cabin steward was quick when we called, room was always made up when we came in and out of room. Quick with any on/off board information we needed. His name was Joe, our cabin was M506. Thanks for making our ...

“Encore” was the best production show we’ve ever seen on a cruise! The talent was incredible! Staging, costumes, and choreography were top notch. Service throughout the ship couldn’t have been better! We traveled with my elderly mom, who required a wheelchair. Staff were consistently helpful at every venue. “You’d like seven pillows? No problem!” They seemed very upbeat and pleased to be ...

A Grand Cruise indeed

We cruised on the Grand Princess in the Mexican Baja peninsula for 10 days at the start of March. The pre-embarkation process was grim. The medallion app is horrid to use and is/was required to enter the required information to be ready for embarkation. It took hours, it didn’t recognize our address and as a result we couldn’t put in return airports etc. Two calls to customer service were ...

We had a great cruise on the Majestic Princess despite the cancellation of the "Love Boat" reunion with the TV show cast. The ship was less than a third capacity and the staff was enthusiastic to see and serve the passengers. The Production Shows were great as usual even though the dancers were required to wear masks which, I'm sure, was difficult and distracting. The other entertainment venues ...

The Un-Love Boat cruise

What a difference a day makes. Got a notice on 1 March addressing the new CDC masks rules. New signage at the elevators, and gone are the Masks Required sign at the buffet. Went to breakfast and only half wearing masks. People are ready for a new day. We were on this ship in Dec 2021, and had booked the Love Boat Cruise, which was cancelled. Many groups wearing Love Boat theme t-shirts, some ...

We had a fabulous time on the Majestic Princess. The food was not up to our standards however we ate in the French restaurant and gave them 10 stars. The crew were amazing. The ship was spotless in side and out. The entertainment was not our style. The casino staff was awesome. Their slots were super tight and we didn't see anyone win anything. However we had a great time in the casino. One ...

Weather is always great this time of year in Mexico and Princess is a great cruise line to travel there. In Cabo we went snorkeling and saw so many whales! It was amazing. I saw more whales on the snorkeling excursion than on previous whale watching tours. In Mazatlan I just shopped and found some great deals. In Puerto Vallarta I snorkeled again, but the whales were the true show ...
