Guest service was not great, I called three times the day we arrived on the boat to let them know that there were four people in our room and the room was only set up for three. They didn't come until 9:30 that night. Since then it's been a downhill struggle. By the second day our room was out of toilet paper. In the morning I called and asked for more toilet paper to be brought, we came back to ...
The Epic is by far the worst ship in the Norwegian line. This cruise it was loaded down with about 4300 passengers. I was totally incapable of accommodating this number of passengers. The lines were endless and everywhere. A number of things did not work. Average wait time for a drink on the pool deck 20 minutes. Finding a chair impossible. Finding a seat in the buffet, almost impossible. ...
My husband and I have been on a number of MSC's ships and in the Yacht Club. Of the cruises we have been on the Seashore would be last place..
I broke it down to what was excellent, good and Unacceptable.
Excellent
* Ocean Cay: This private island is a major perk for MSC Cruises guests. It offers beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and plenty of activities to enjoy.

This was the absolute worst cruise I have ever experienced. The rooms on the Epic were shabby and smelly. The food options were horrible. The staff members were rude, entertainment options were all substandard. The staff working at the Garden Cafe and horrible parents allowed their children to play in the buffet food. Adults were filling their personal water bottles at the public water fountain ...
Our family just completed a 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise on the Epic, which was also our first NCL cruise. Prior to boarding, I was absolutely terrified having read all of the recent negative reviews. Having completed the cruise, I must say the Epic gets more criticism than it deserves.
Let's start with the bad:
We had a later board time (I was late doing the online check-in), and ...
March 31 – Port Canaveral –
A pretty day as we got to Terminal 10. The process was to pull up to the terminal, unload luggage then go park in the garage. There were 2 lanes approaching the terminal and everyone was lined up in a single line in the right lane. A few shuttles passed in the left lane then people decided that passengers should use both lanes. We had been waiting in the right ...
10-day cruise kicks off with weekend option that we took advantage of. Incredible 3-day trip that began in Port Canaveral. Our interior room was quite spacious with considerable closet and storage “Seashore” on and off was easy, exceptionally clean ship with fantastic customer service and entertainment. We saw three evening shows, each offering delightful performances: great talent, choreography ...
Ship was the best in the RC fleet we had been on and the Oasis class still seems to get bigger and better, it has its issues around which ports it can get in, and now those are becoming stale as they do third/forth time, I won’t mention CoCocay, alas I’m sure we will be seeing more of the private island concept inflict itself on us in years to come, tragic but understandable, the company will save ...
Food was great, staff were nice and friendly. We had a good time. The cruise director & captain were funny and witty. I’m giving them 2 stars because of the “Kids Zone”, our trip was predicated on having our 3-yr old go to splash zone while we attended our specialty dining, gambling and occasional drinks, however the staff and policies at the Kid Zone (splash zone) were horrible! ) they wouldn’t ...
Had a fantastic time on this cruise! Myself and husband in our 40's. Two teenage daughters 16,17.
Rooms- We had a balcony cabin which was perfect. A little smaller than RC or carnival but still great! We only slept here and got ready.
Our kids had an inside cabin across the hall (ish). It was nice but of course they hated not having a window or door especially because they never knew what ...
