Walk on board it’s dark and colourless, drab dark wood walls, and following COVID an awful lot of formalities. Spend a day or so, with an open mind. It will grow on you. The staff, seem hand picked to please you. The food, if repetitive over a few weeks, is good, really good. If you are of an age, go to the main dinning rooms for proper service. Whilst we agree with a lot of the comments made about the Ventura. Some of the guests hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. Ignoring hand sanatisers on many occasions. Our flight from Newcastle with TUI was excellent plenty of leg room and great service from the stewards on board. We were lucky to get an upgrade of our cabin but unfortunately for us although in a great position on the ship it was a Pullman berth cabin and for two weeks we were bending over to get into our bed.
