One of the Worst Havens To Date

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

We were on the November 30, 2019 Breakaway Sail. As you will see from our cruise history, we are Platinum Plus and have sailed many times including several sails in a suite/the Haven. Most of our sails have been reviewed on here. This sail was also a Haven sail. As such, the majority of the review focuses on the Haven. We had several issues this cruise most of which were resolved on ...

Not very good

They are not smoker friendly and not friendly in general except the girls who squirt your hands at food court. Bartender is very rude and obnoxious, servers were friendly especially Bobby and Sonny liked them a lot. Will not be going with Norwegian again I can assure you of that. Beautiful ship, really nice state rooms and that is about it.Restaurants were great, service in there was pretty good. ...

Great pricing with 4 extras included in the price, beverage package (but no special coffees), 250 wifi minutes, shore excursion credit at each port and 3 specialty dining options. The specialty restaurants were the best we have been too. Congrats on that! The golf, basketball and other activities were not well planned and never on time, very disappointing for our grandsons. Staterooms needed more ...

Not great cruise for guests with limited mobility

Chose this cruise to be with adult extended family over Thanksgiving holiday. Unfortunately there were 1400 children and teens onboard. Some were polite and considerate. Others were raucous and rambunctious. Ship was at full passenger capacity - reportedly 6000. Main dining rooms served bland food in small portions which may explain how NCL is able to offer access without reservations. ...

For the most part we had a good time on the cruise, but once we got back and talked about it. We had a good time because of the Haven. And not sure it was worth what we paid. In fact, I'm sure it wasn't. First of all, Embarkation was completely unorganized and certainly left a bad taste in our mouths. Took us around 2.5 hours to get on the ship once we were dropped at the port. Not the end of ...

5-day Sun

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Sun

Point off for this eval format, the smell in the room, and the room steward. Is this what Norwegian is doing now instead of a REAL eval of your cruise paid for by your hard-earned money?? That's so cheap, and very low on the customer service side of things. Makes me want to decrease my rating. The cabin was great, room 9078, it's Aft facing. It has a coffee pot and bathtub. Had two robes and ...

This was my husband's and my first cruise and we enjoyed it. Norwegian offered a great deal on the cruise with many added perks. Expect to spend an additional $200-300 each in other charges and on board purchases. We even had $150 on board spending credits and $100 in spa credits, and no booked excursions. We had a balcony cabin on deck 10 and loved our room. It was plenty room for the two of us. ...

Nothing special

We chose a short 5 day cruise with 2 beach stops to relax after a 6 month chemo. Treatment. We chose an inside cabin which we only did once before( and never again ) to keep costs down. Embarkation was smooth but not the seas that first night. To quote george costanza "the seas were angry my friend", rocking and rolling. This added to the pleasure of an inside cabin. Our first beach day was ...

I chose this cruise because of the itinerary. My party originally booked on Royal Caribbean, but we wanted to go to Keywest so we changed to the Norwegian Sun. Norwegian was also offering some nice incentives, the reasonably priced beverage package. Norwegian does some things really well. The beverage package was the best of any of the lines I have been on. The bar service was great, fast, ...

Some disappointments

We are previous Norwegian cruisers, and we chose this cruise to introduce some friends to cruising. We were very happy with our cabin, 8030, and very happy with Elias, our cabin steward, and with the ship overall. Embarkation and debarkation was smooth and easy. Entertainment was good, about the same as many other ships. We were very happy with Cagney's, the specialty steakhouse. Impeccable ...
