I worked on Norwegian in 2005. I was expecting as a passenger a different experience. 3500 passengers is way too many on a ship. There was never a good time to take the elevator, the pool is WAY too small and there are not enough chairs. The Escape is a fantastic ship. Plenty to do and a friendly staff. We were fortunate to win an upgrade to a balcony room and it faced AFT. Room was cleaned and well maintained. We did enjoy ourselves but the ship was very noisy.
The ship was too big and no matter where you went it was crowded. It appears that Norweigan is marketing too the younger generation, there were alot of strollers. Some kids were well behaved others not so much. We are retired and travel when kids are still in school, not sure why they weren't in school.

We just came off the Dawn, Boston to Bermuda. embarkation was not too bad at all and we made it onto the ship in about 45 mins. This was DD's college graduation cruise, and she brought her high school best friend, who had also just graduated. Had the suite decorated and a cake delivered. Made them both quite happy! Total party was Mom, Dad, son, daughter, graduate daughter, and best friend.
