NCL PRIMA NOV 20 Transatlantic

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Prima

Despite my reservations from reading the reviews, I really like the ship though there are some annoying things….especially for the visually impaired: the clues and sounds are too subtle..like identifying which elevator has arrived. For short folks the closet hanging rods are too high to reach & in the cafe the top shelf of displayed items like muffins is so high you can’t see what’s on ...

We’ve just finished a fantastic 11 night transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to New York on the excellent NCL Prima. This is my first review on here, which I felt compelled to write after being concerned about the negative reviews I’d read before boarding. If you are booked on a future cruise on the Prima, please be reassured that it’s a great ship with a friendly helpful crew. This was our ...

The experience on this ship was amazing. Everything was geared towards the guest having a good time Entertainment was amazing since it was a transatlantic cruise we didn’t have many port stops but this was well known prior to booking and not a problem. The 2 stops I did get off were very organized and easy to do even without booking excursions The entertainment was very well planned and ...

Just finished up a 11 day Med cruise on the Prima. We stayed in the Haven and the experience was truly exceptional. The staff was the best and the ship nearly flawless. Our butler Jefferson took care of every need. I just can't say enough good things about him. The cabin was very very comfortable and roomy. The food and drink in the Haven restaurant and bar did not disappoint. I do wish ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

The itinerary was excellent, although we won't ever embark/disembark from Marseille again thanks to their brutal taxation. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout the ship. Given the age of the ship, it's not in bad shape, the rooms that seem to be rated poorly due to design reminded us of the 2 RV's we once owned and loved. I would have no hesitation booking on this ship ...

I love the Epic so booked this cruise and I'm so glad I did, yes it was really hot due to the heatwave, but we coped and the air conditioning on the ship helped so much. The staff were amazing all so friendly and helpful, the restaurants were great always friendly and with me been vegetarian they were way more than helpful ensuring they got me the vegan menu and ensuring I was happy with what I ...

We booked the trip because it matched the time and ports that worked for other people. After booking, I began to read the reviews and became nervous about so many things. Fortunately we were very pleasantly surprised with almost all aspects of the trip. There were a few negatives and I will do my best to summarize our experience. We live in NJ and went to Barcelona a few days early. We ...

We took the Western Mediterranean Cruise on Epic, upon our friend's suggestion and it was great! 10 days are perfect for a cruise time and to see so many interesting towns! Great service on board provided by the staff. Next cruise we want to experience the Eastern Mediterranean one since we heard Croatia and Greece are worth stops. The food was great at the Manhattan where we had dinner! Buffet ...

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

For starters, this was my 15th cruise overall and fifth with NCL. This trip was three years in the making. We had to cancel our original 7-night cruise out of Venice due to COVID. We chose this itinerary because of the great ports. 11 nights Barcelona to Rome with stops in Cannes, France, Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Naples, Messina, Sicily, Kotor, Montenegro and Greece (Corfu, Santorini, Athens and ...

Our first cruise post-covid and most definitely worth the wait! We were originally a little concerned at the size of the Epic, as we were used to the smaller South Pacific sized ships, but we never felt overwhelmed by the numbers and I believe that the cruise was at around 80% capacity. The Epic is well laid out for eating with the majority of the table restaurants at the rear and the buffet ...
