We didn't choose the cruise,it came as part of a visit to Tenessee. It was a very large ship and very busy as it was half term in some parts of America. There was only one small pool, far too small for the amount of passengers on board, also there's a children's play pool and water slides. This area of the ship was always packed with people, many of whom spent the day drinking alcohol. On ...

I should start by saying the only other cruise line I have sailed in is Disney. I prepared myself before hand not to expect the Disney level of anything and I was still very disappointed. My biggest complaint was that smoking is allowed inside the ship. Smoking was allowed at a bar on deck 9 as well as the casino next to the bar. Deck 9 is a main passageway on this ship and the smoke permeates ...

We thought it would be a great idea to try a mainstream cruise line after hearing good things about NCL from others. We usually choose Windstar or Star Clippers or other small ship, but I've been on a dozen cruises, including Holland America. Ship information - the ship is big and crowded. Finding a lounge chair remained largely elusive for the week as scores of passengers threw their towel on a ...

My wife and I are not habitual cruisers although we have 4 previous holidays with 4 different companies. We booked this cruise out of New Orleans because we wanted a few days staying there prior to sailing. We joined the queue to register, and it was long, but we were impressed at the efficiency of the staff. The ship itself was clean and well maintained. The cabin that we had was small but ...
