Pros are supposed to go before cons, so I will put the positives first, but please don’t miss the negatives later in this review, because although there were a few redeeming qualities, make no mistake, I would never sail with MSC again. The internet was terrible and expensive. We had to get several visas, but few were actually needed. For example, we had to have a visa to South Korea to board the ship, but later we found that no one needed a visa to SK. MSC will not give me a refund for the unnecessary visa. The cruise itself was very nice. Cabin was clean, the menu and service were very good. The entertainment was varied including jugglers, acrobats, magicians, singers and an attempt at stage production. The staff was polite and attentive. I confess. I disliked immensely my previous cruise aboard an MSC ship. In the hopes of discovering that MSC in So Am has improved, I hopped aboard the Poesia since I was already in the departure port (Buenos Aires) and it was only a 3 night cruise with a single port layover in Punta del Este.
