We flew to Genoa from Miami, spent the night at the Holiday Inn and taxied to the port in the morning. Embarkation was a breeze. We sailed the Divina 6 times before so we Knew what to expect. Different Captain and different Hotel Director this time. She is a beautiful Italian design ship. Love the crystal staircase. We had a balcony starboard forward cabin and a great steward (Alphonso). The ...

I chose this cruise for the itinerary, because several ports had an overnight giving 2 days in those ports. I saw Divina launched in Marseille in 2011 and sailed on her as a solo traveller the following year, and loved it, so was looking forward to sailing on her again. I have a friend I travel with now but we choose to have our own cabins. Paying a single supplement is huge so we always book ...

GOOD ITINERARY ALTHOUGH WE MISSED PONTA DELGADA

I chose this cruise because I did a similar "repositioning" cruise last year on the Preziosa and enjoyed it. This time we were going to New York, which I have never been to. Embarkation was not good this time - not enough people and information at the port in Lisbon which resulted in us carrying our suitcases to the cabin ourselves. I didn't think the food was as good on Divina as it was on ...

This is my collulative review for MSC Divina based on our 2 cruises ( one in 2017 Miami- St Martin- Puerto Rico, Bahamas; and the second one in March 2018 14 days trip across Caribbean and Central America ( Panama, Colombia, Costa Rica, Belize) The ship is really big, it takes up to 3500 passengers. During both vacations ship was full, almost no empty cabins. Even though it’s 6 years old, all ...

We have never had the time to do a Transatlantic cruise before, so when we saw a MSC Divina Yacht Club offer at an excellent price we jumped at it, a 21 night cruise from Miami to Rome with a night stop over in New York, and a chance to compare the Yacht Club to the NCL Haven. Embarkation was easy, 15 minutes after arriving at the port we were in our cabin. It was slightly bigger than a ...

This was our 3rd cruise. All have been with MSC. In 2012 we cruised the Mediterranean for 7 days on this ship and loved it. In 2013 we cruised the east and west Caribbean on another MSC ship and loved it. This cruise was not as good. First they changed the cruise dates which cost $1,200 to change air transportation and we had to fight for some compensation. We finally got $1,000. While on the ship ...

No way to make a good impression!

The Divina is a beautiful ship. I like the staterooms. In the staterooms I especially like the folding shower doors that give extra room when you're not in the shower. Departure from Venice was very unpleasant. You have to walk, dragging your luggage from the people mover to the ship. Thank goodness it wasn't raining! It's about one mile... honestly a mile. Regarding the food I always found ...

Divina...November 2-20....Trans Atlantic...Venice to Miami This was our second cruise with MSC....first one a 14 day New England to Quebec City...and this one an 18 day repositioning from Venice to Miami.....right off I must say that “we WOULD sail again with MSC ”..that statement is for those who think that any sort of criticism is bad-mouthing the company and its ships.... We had just finished ...

Calm seas and great service in Yacht Club Transatlantic crossing

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Divina

We have done a number of transatlantic crossings and enjoy the sea days, this was our 2nd time in the Yacht Club. The Yacht Club experience is worth every penny, it is a quit oasis on an otherwise very pretty but very crowded ship. The service in the lounge and the pool is exceptional, the head butler is always visible, always ensuring that all your needs are met, all the staff without exception ...
