Wedding celebration. Overall we had a very enjoyable trip. The embarkation was tedious due to Covid. The breakfast and lunch were fairly good. The overall impression was that the food was not of such good quality. The coffee and juice were extremely poor quality. Obviously trying to force you into buying coffee from the different bars which were good quality. The service at dinner was lacking. ...
Now don't get me wrong, we really enjoyed this cruise and for the money we paid it was a bargain. However not having cruised with MSC before there were a few unexpected omissions compared to other lines we've used.
Embarkation was swift as we were one of the last to board due to a prior trip to the Iguazu Falls, then it was straight into the lifeboat drill, where you not only had to take your ...
We did back to back cruises and did Greece and Montenegro the week before on the same ship. Awesome itineraries, we were scheduled to stop at Malta but due to rough seas detoured to Majorca which was amazing beautiful place to visit, no biggy cause I already been to Malta before, some passengers were upset about not getting to Malta, but good that we had another port to visit as plan B as I ...
We took (and reviewed) a similar repositioning cruise from Genoa to Brazil aboard the MSC Orchestra 2 years ago. At a cost of just £50 per person per day we think MSC offer exceptional value for money.
The balcony cabin was just great. We provided our own kettle to brew a cuppa whenever we felt like one.
The €287.50 that we paid to access the spa was money well spent. The saunas were even ...
Sailed with MSC...gold card holders...so very disappointed.
Venice embarkation shambles to say the least.
After flight from Dublin and long track across Venice airport coach park with luggage in the rain we had to stand 2+ hrs to hand over luggage in PRIORITY BOARDING lane at cruise terminal.
Fellow passengers the noisiest, hardly any English announcements/entertainment etc clear ...
My wife and I have just finished the cruise from Rio to Genoa. Have cruised with MSC before so knew what to expect. If you expect English or Australian standards you will be disappointed as the passengers come from a wide mix of countries all with different cultures and standards. Be aware that in the dining rooms you have to pay for water and tea or coffee, even though they are free in the buffet ...
My friend and I flew from New Zealand to board the MSC Orchestra on its repositioning cruise from Rio to Genoa. We had a wonderful experience and are keen to repeat. The cruise was amazing value for money and we think we got a five star experience for a two star price. Thanks MSC.
Our balcony twin cabin, of a good size, was more than adequate for our needs and was kept clean and tidy at all ...
I was astounded to read that MSC have only a 54% passenger satisfaction rating, so was apprehensive when I booked an outside balcony cabin for a 17 night Transatlantic cruise for the bargain price of just £770. My wife and I have cruised twice with P&O who set the bar very high, but we were not disappointed. On the contrary, the MSC experience was better in almost every way.
We bought a ...
Outstanding combination of European and Brazilian ports punctuated by a five day calm Transatlantic crossing was the initial attraction - the value for money pricing was a further benefit.
Organisation from embarkation to disembarkation, tendering and service throughout the ship exceeded expectations. Food in the dinning rooms was average but the self serve offering were wide ranging, innovative, ...
Well, after all the worry after reading some of the reviews on this Cruise Line, we did actually go with an open mind. We where not dissappointed the ship was beautiful. After a very long flight we actually boarded just after 1pm plenty of time to unpack have lunch and a good look around. Everything on this ship is very expensively done the furnishings, decor etc are magnificent. Our cabin on Deck ...
