Much improved from summer reviews

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Divina

This was my very first Transatlantic cruise. I booked it early because the low price was too great to miss out on. Then I started reading the reviews coming out during summer and was worried I would have a bad experience. It seems the cruiseline was reading them also. Most of the staff on our sailing had only been working on the ship for 2 months or less, which means they fired all the old ...

I have been on 18 cruises, but never longer than 7 days. This was my 1st longer cruise and my 1st transatlantic cruise. EMBARKATION: I arrived at the port in Barcelona with a fellow passenger who spoke Spanish. Somewhow, that got us priority boarding. We walked right up to counter, got our cruise cards and walked right onto the ship. I think were were onboard within 10 ...

Best Cruise Ever

The MSC Divina is an older ship, but very well maintained and beautiful. We decided to splurge on the Yacht Club on the MSC Divina. We are so glad we did. From the check in to debarkation we were treated like VIP's, but not in an uncomfortable way. Every crew member in the Yacht Club greeted us warmly each and every time we saw them and were always offering ways to make our cruise an enjoyable ...

Trans-Atlantic on the beautiful Divina

We love cruising, are seasoned travelers and active seniors from California. We chose this cruise on the Divina for the itinerary -- some places we haven't been, the relaxing sea days crossing the Atlantic, a great ride to Italy. As expected, the ship was stunning, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a variation of venues inside. We'd sailed once before with MSC, and of course we'd read all ...

Crociera....divina! Cruise...Divine!

We have enjoyed our cruise! We were in the Yatch club section who is oustanding! The quality of the service was wonderful and the food was at the same level! Show in the theater: not good at all! 30-40 minutes max per show and after 3 shows, I gave up and spend more time at the lougne! Boat in General: nice boat with all you are expecting from a major cruise line . Yatch club: much ...

My wife and I are both MSC veterans with many cruises over the past ten years. This, however, would be the first time we cruised in Yacht Club and the first Transatlantic. I’m an American and she Italian and both well over 65. I realize that our YC experiences were for the most part vastly different from those enjoyed by the passengers in aurea, fantastica, and bella classes. Embarkation: ...

Awesome Grand Voyage Across the Atlantic and Around the Caribbean

Just back from an amazing cruise on the beautiful MSC Divina. This was my 6th cruise on MSC so I wasn't put off by the negative reviews and this cruise on the Divina certainly met all of my expectations. I acknowledge people have different tastes, likes and dislikes and for me MSC and NCL provide me with the best cruise experiences with Royal Caribbean following very close behind. P&O and Cunard ...

The ship is stunning in its elegance. The swarovski staircase is exquisite. The embarkation and disembarkation process was quick and easy. The onboard staff was very friendly and always available. The theatrical productions were exceptional. It was world-class entertainment. We found that the cabin stewards as well as the dining waiters were very receptive and accommodating to our every request. ...

Enjoyable Transatlantic Crossing

Outstanding itinerary at value for money pricing was the initial attraction. Sailing into New York Harbour with an overnight stay proved memorable. Weather precluded a Bermuda stop which meant six sea days in a row to the Azores. However the range and quality of the fine facilities on MSC Divina meant this was a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable period at sea.The food was of a considerable variety ...
