Sail Date: Dec 2023
Cabin: Deluxe Interior

This was my very first Transatlantic cruise. I booked it early because the low price was too great to miss out on. Then I started reading the reviews coming out during summer and was worried I would have a bad experience. It seems the cruiseline was reading them also. Most of the staff on our sailing had only been working on the ship for 2 months or less, which means they fired all the old staff that wasn't living up to customers expectations. The food was great. We usually had the buffet for breakfast and lunch and ate in the dining room for dinner. Lots of choices for breakfast including the yummy sticky buns - but they only had limited supply of those so you had to get there fast. Lunch was the same - lots of choices. The dining room service was great. Food was good, always came out hot. Delicious icecream for dessert options. The shows were varied in the evening. Overall we had a great time, even the ocean cooperated and it was mostly a smooth sailing until we got to Puerto Rico. My only complaint was they didn't offer maple syrup to go with the french toast, waffles and pancakes. They had honey, caramel, raspberry, and chocolate sauce along with whip cream. I bought my own. lol

Cabin Review

Deluxe Interior

Inside cabin was standard size, two twin beds put together, desk with stool, bathroom with shower and closet, plus an additional row of drawers and shelves - we had plenty of storage space, but we travel light. I liked that it had plastic shower doors instead of a flimsy curtain and you could push them inside the shower to make the bathroom feel bigger.
