Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Seascape

This was our first cruise with MSC. The adventure began with embarkation - the process went smoothly. we quickly arrived at the neat and well-kept cabin. We spent several days getting to know the ship and its attractions. High-level service, always helpful and polite. The cabin was cleaned regularly, sometimes to excess. Just like the rest of the staff. The food was varied and tasty. Everyone ...

Great time on the Seashore. Why all the hate?!

Wanted to quickly report that we had a really great time. 7 nights, Fantastica Balcony which included drink package and WiFi. I was worried given the poor reviews but I’m so confused why the reviews were so bad. I heard one man complaining that the coffee was out (10 minutes before buffet breakfast ended) and was very upset. I told him the other stations had cups, coffee and the included coffee ...

Yacht Club is the only way to cruise!

Our cruise in February on MSC Seashore our of Orlando was our first MSC cruise. We only ever tried MSC because the last 3 RCCL cruises we'd been on had been one disaster after another. Less service, higher prices...no thanks, RCCL. So we booked this MSC Cruise with a Fantastica experience, and then won a bid for an upgrade to Yacht Club. And now Yacht Club is the only way we'll ...

Ship is gorgeous and I never felt like it was full. Walking to our cabin the elevators gleamed and it was super clean. We had an upgraded Aurea room and it was tiny. I have seen airplanes with bigger bathrooms. If you had to do a 2 you could not sit straight in the toilet. You were at an angle. Bars looked good and made good drinks but wait times for drinks could be 30-45 minutes. Every bar was ...

I do not recommend

The ship may be beautiful, but the organization is terrible. Not enough tables in the main restaurant, not enough sunbeds by the pool. Daily lack of Jameson Whiskey, Jack Daniels, Brandy etc and carbonated water!!!! at the bar of the Black Crab Restaurant and other restaurants that were included in the drink package I purchased. The evening dancing in the black crab restaurant full of alcohol ...

MSC needs to include more North American food on their menu.

We stayed in the Yacht Club. Boarding was very impressive and smooth. A butler escorts you to the ship. The food options were less than satisfactory. The menu catered to Europeans. First cruise I lost weight. The Yacht Club restaurant was nice with exceptional views. All the employees at the restaurant delivered great service. Their private Island for Yacht Club was very impressive. MSC ...

I been to so many cruises that I can not keep track anymore, from RCL, princess, carnival, Holland America, etc… This is my first time on MSC line. Before I go I went here and check reviews. Most people were so critical about the cruise line especially about the foods, etc.. I almost cancel this cruise and go back to the cruise lines that I am familiar with, but I very happy that I didn’t. ...

Stay away from MSC cruise even if it is free

I stayed an interior cabin, it was spacious and clean. Housekeeping staff was very attentive. The worst trip I've ever had in my life. I very regret joining this tour. The ship is new but the facilities and planning are a disgrace. They want you to register for the shows on the ship. Even if you go to the hall before the show time, the hall is full. So what's the point of recording? ...

We tried to make the most of it! The ship headed right into a tropical storm so one of our stops we stayed on. Half the people were sick on the boat. The 8 hot tubs were always closed, we got into 2 shows because they were always full, the hallways were always crowded. The lay out was horrible and the elevators were slow ( I did get my steps in)the had lots and lots of stairs. Seemed like ...

We chose this cruise to fill in a gap in our vacation schedule- being snowbirds from colder climates! The ship is beautiful, there are multiple seating areas, the standard cabin was spacious, although the bathroom space was tight. MSC does require you to bring your own distilled water for CPAP machine. Other cruise lines provide this. The variety show was entertaining but the stage productions ...
