"My suggestion for those new to the ship is to get a feel for it, paying attention if you are Starboard, Port side, AFT, Middle or Forward and the associated elevator banks near your room to avoid the long hikes from end to end.Our balcony room was near the elevator and not noisy and a bit dated, but typical of a cruise ship...."Read More

Enjoyed our Mother-Daughter cruise. Our goal was a beach-focused cruise for 22 year old and 56 year old. We’re both experienced cruisers and have sailed Royal before as it was our family’s choice for family cruising when daughter was younger. Recently husband and I have moved back to Celebrity so i couldn’t help but view this cruise through that lens.
The good:
Staff was enthusiastic and ...
Usually I do not write reviews, but after reading some of the negative reviews on this site I decided it would be best.
1st off please remember this is a mid size ship and not one of the largest/newer and HIGHER PRICED SHIPS in the Royal Fleet. My wife and I (ages 48 and 50) went on a 4 night cruise with the drink package for under $3K including our flight.
We have been on over 10 cruises ...
My Immediate family of 10 had so much fun on this cruise. Coco Cay was the best! The snorkeling was fantastic (no excursion). The free buffet excellent, especially the philly beef steak sandwiches.
The splash away bay outstanding for the kids!
Our cabins were very clean with outstanding service and comfortable beds.
Steel band was excellent! Ice show very enjoyable! Silent Disco the most ...
This cruise was selected to introduce a friend to cruising who was extremely fearful. This would allow her to sample what cruising is like, be on the water, experience the food, the drinks, the entertainment, the ports and the host of new friends you meet. The result of this experience is that she would cruise in the future so I would consider it a success.
I have over 20 cruises under my ...
My family chose this cruise because of the private island and water park ( Atlantis). I’m a first time cruiser and this was an amazing experience! The staff was entertaining and polite, and there was so much variety in the food! The stateroom was a little tight but overall comfortable with a gorgeous view. The buffet food was good for breakfast but I wouldn’t recommend going for dinner because ...
My wife and I were first time cruisers on this sailing. This sailing went to Nassau and Perfect day Coco Cay. We both really enjoyed this cruise on Freedom of the Seas. We did not really know what to expect. But we both cannot wait to go on another Royal Caribbean cruise!
Embarkation day was very easy & smooth and it only took 15-20 minutes to get on the ship. Our bags were already at our cabin ...
We chose this cruise with a group total of 18. This was all of our first time on any RC line. First off, the ship is very nice, I love the layout and how there is plenty of space to hang out by the pools, walk the promenade, etc. There was plenty of activities to entertain both the adults and kids, too. 98% of the staff we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful, even with being ...
We chose this cruise because it was short and the grandkids had off from school. WE were a party of four adults and three children. Embarcation was organized and smooth. Once on board, we first stopped at our Muster Station and then went to our outside cabins. I noticed that our cabin had a balcony which was walled off! What a waste. We then grabbed a bite at the Windjammer. The food was ...
This was a last minute deal for us to celebrate our birthdays!
Embarkation was very smooth and fast in Miami. We stayed in the Courtyard by the airport and were picked up by our Uber at 10:05 am and on the ship by 11:20 am. That easy.
We had gorgeous weather all 4 days so we spent most the time outside. The ship was full. Yes, there were kids, but they didn't bother us. We have kids ...
This is my second time on a Royal ship out of Miami, the past was the Mariner of the Seas. I am NOT a fan of Miami at all. Most of my sailings have been Disney out of P.C.
Embarkation -was probably the smoothest I have experienced to date of any cruise line and port. My daughter was asked no less than 5 times if she was fully Vaccinated.
Activities- there is never a shortage of these on ...
