We chose this cruise with a group total of 18. This was all of our first time on any RC line. First off, the ship is very nice, I love the layout and how there is plenty of space to hang out by the pools, walk the promenade, etc. There was plenty of activities to entertain both the adults and kids, too. 98% of the staff we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful, even with being understaffed. Our room steward (Kerve) always went above and beyond to help in any way he could and he kept our cabin spiffy all the time, as well as some cute towel animals for the kids! The cabin was a little small for 4, the balcony was nice sized!

Dining always seemed to be a nightmare though. The buffet is absolute chaos, and the food was mediocre, at best. Surprisingly, our main dining was worse! I didn’t expect perfection, but our main server was rude, incompetent, and made our experience there unwelcoming. Even the specialty dining left a lot to be desired. Due to having an infant, I found myself needing to order room service on occasion. 75 minute wait turned in to almost 3 hours with the food and coffee being cold and completely inedible. While I usually tend to gain weight on a cruise, to my (not so) surprise I lost a few pounds! (Guess I should take that as a win!) In addition, I despise having prefilled buffet drinks provided to me, just as much as the buffet! At one point I saw a child drink from 3 separate cups and put them back, kind of made my stomach turn! Even with the deluxe drink package, when I asked for “fresh squeezed “ juice (as advertised) I was handed the same prefilled cup of watered down orange juice. I was so grateful to see Nasaau, knowing I could enjoy a meal with flavor for the week! I think I will stick to our other line from now on, at least I know the food is good! Lol

Port Reviews

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Much better than other private islands! Good amount of space and activities available. Lots of “included” activities that keeps you from having to spend more money!

Nassau

Did not utilize RC excursions. Found a private tour bus and enjoyed a real tour of the island with everything we wanted to see !
