Sail Date: Jun 2023

My wife and I were first time cruisers on this sailing. This sailing went to Nassau and Perfect day Coco Cay. We both really enjoyed this cruise on Freedom of the Seas. We did not really know what to expect. But we both cannot wait to go on another Royal Caribbean cruise!

Embarkation day was very easy & smooth and it only took 15-20 minutes to get on the ship. Our bags were already at our cabin door. My wife and I did not do the premium dining, so we just ate at the free options on the ship (windjammer, main dining, cafe promenade). We really enjoyed most of the free food options, but nothing was amazing in our opinion. The windjammer always had a lot of good options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The main dining was good and the service was very good.

The entertainment on board the ship was good and there was always something to do. We went to a few of the shows In the evening that were impressive. There was karaoke most nights and that was fun. Plenty of other family/games shows throughout the day to go to also. The pool deck was nice and big enough to always find seating.

Cabin Review

We had a promenade view interior room. It was not very spacious or updated, but for just the two of us it was fine. Would have been nice to have better plug in options for electronics.

Port Reviews

Nassau

First time at Nassau and there was not much to do within walking distance from the port. Very touristy. Hopefully can do an excursion next time.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Perfect Day at Cococay was very nice! A lot of space/areas to relax by the water. The Oasis Lagoon pool was big and also a fun area to enjoy the music. The food on the island was very good too at the main buffet area and the snack shack.
