This was my husband and kids 1st cruise experience and overall it was very good. The crew on the ship were very nice, respectful, helpful and informative. Our room was clean and seemed newly updated. I was very happy with our cabin. Dustin was our cruise director and he was very informative and he definitely knew how to do his job and he always tried to get the crowd going. which he succeeded. ...

Amazing dining room staff and cabin steward

This was my first cruise I enjoyed it. The most amazing dinning room staff. We had an exceptional waiter. The cabin steward was extremely helpful and nice. Clean rooms, clean ship and most of the staff were friendly, but as always there are bad apples. The staff at the funshops were rude, not all but many of them during special sales. The sales staff in jewelry shop during a sale were rude ...

Nice ship but needs some minor adjustments

We chose the Glory because the sail date fit our schedule. Overall it was a nice ship. Our balcony room would have been excellent if the AC worked. We couldn't open our curtain or the room would be unbearable. Below are a few observations about our trip: * Faster to the Fun is worth every penny * Our room steward was fantastic * Guy's Burger is the best restaurant on the ship. * ...

FANTASTIC SERVICE! Our cabin steward was awesome always bringing us fresh towels, ice, and making our birthday cruise special. Check-in was a breeze. The ship is definitely looking older but still kept up. The best part of the cruise was the ports of call. St. Thoms and Half moon cay being the highlights. I highly suggest renting an ATV (as long as your comfortable driving on the left hand side of ...

Nice ship with a few flaws

We've been on 15 cruises -12 on CCL. For reference, we'll be platinum on our Vista cruise in July, so we purchased FTTF for this last one. We also had cheers (yes, worth it for us). Just got off the Glory - here's my impression. First time on this particular ship. We were married during a cruise on the Liberty, a sister ship, several years ago. Food: MDR was short of disappointing. We went ...

Wonderful cruise once we were boarded

I am a platinum guest with Carnival, so I usually book through Carnival to receive my perks. Embarkation was very disorganized. I boarded in Miami and was taken to the VIP lounge. Usually when boarding they announce Diamond members, Platinum members and then the FTTF guests. Boarding early is suppose to be one of the perks for a diamond or platinum guest. This time they just said all board now ...

Friends that have cruised previously picked this cruise and invited us. There were 13 of us total, age range 10-60. Had a good time, even with few hiccups along the way. Our cabin steward showed up first day and introduced himself. After that he was nonexistent. Spoke with others in our group and found out they saw there cabin stewards every day, multiple times. We definitely did not get ...

we just got back from a 7 day cruise on the Carnival Glory and overall it was a great cruise. since we had a suite we had priority embarkation so it was really fast and easy. we had our son with us who just turned 17 , sad - no more kids clubs after this cruise , and we never saw him cause he met some great kids in the O2 club. the carnival kids clubs have been amazing every time we ...

John Heald Bloggers' Cruise

We chose this cruise because we had never been on the Carnival Glory, and it just so happened to be the site of the 10th John Heald Bloggers' Cruise. John hosted a lot of private events for all of us who were part of the Bloggers' group. He was a fantastic host, and being a part of the group made this cruise very special. We had been to all of the ports, so we decided not to book any excursions ...

A great cruise experience

The Glory was my 14th cruise - I was a travel agent for 10 years and travelled a lot. I have sailed on Carnival many times, Celebrity, Holland America, Royal Caribbean and Princess various times. While Celebrity is still my favourite we had a great experience on the Glory. I was nervous about going after reading the complaints on here but now I know that it's just unhappy people for the most ...
