Won't be sailing with Norwegian again.

We were really excited about this cruise! My husband researched a ton before we booked it. We have sailed with Disney, Princess and Royal prior to this. The ship looked awesome online and we were excited to try Norwegian and to have the ropes course and the cool water slides for my teenagers. The check in process was very fast and efficient. When we walked around the ship for the first time ...

So....where to begin. We were so looking forward to this cruise, having been on just two cruises previously, we we excited about the prospects of a big, state of the art ship and beautiful tropical beaches. Our only reference point was Princess Cruise Lines in Alaska and a Western Carribean cruise on NCL close to 20 years ago. After several weeks of pondering this review, I still cannot ...

Service is not your specialty at all

We chose MSC Cruises because of a friend referral. We will not use this cruise line again. The ship is glorious, the shows are great, Andre was the highlight of our week, but the food is not great and the service was horrible. We waited over an hour for iced tea during one of our dinners, we never knew when the sports bar was open because the times were not correctly listed, we were not properly ...

This was the first cruise for my family and I and we decided to start with Royal Caribbean since so many people told us how great they are. Unfortunately I did not enjoy much about this cruise. In short the customer service was lacking, the rooms smelled like pee and my curtains to the balcony had a huge hole, the entire ship had rust everywhere including my entire balcony, the food in the ...

Not American, and not as good

This cruise was chosen by a relative who desired an extended family cruise together, and was chosen largely based on the lower cost. I have worked for both Carnival and Princess Cruise Lines, and have cruised with Royal Caribbean, Holland America and Disney. MSC was by far the strangest and less comfortable than of any of my other wonderful experiences. We would not cruise with MSC again. I ...

Cruise needs help! Staff not overly friendly...no attentiveness pool side--ship dirty in certain areas--food was mediocre to poor. Cabin were clean with very little interaction with cabin steward. The excursions were just ok--rather false advertising as you can't see rum being made and you see a one man rolling a cigar. The private classic car tool was interesting but very unimpressive as to ...

A Big Disappointment

We have been on many cruises and the Escape does not measure up to other ships. The size of the ship is impressive, but the food quality was very poor and the dinning room service was extremely slow. Each night our meals took between 2.5 to 3 hours to serve. The food lacked flavor, was over cooked and dry. The ship also did not have adequate pool space and was overcrowded every day. It was also ...

We chose this cruise because it was a good price point and my family in general enjoys travel and being around other cultures. I will say the food was great, service was fantastic (especially George from Romania in the Black Crab!) and the ship was beautiful and clean. The shows were well done and a good length - not too long or short. We went every evening and really felt the entertainment crew ...

I didn't have high expectations. MSC Divina lived up to those expectations.

with the exception of a few staff encounters with my toddler everything on this cruise was at best average. the food was okay (better at the buffet than the dining room), room was in poor condition. staff could have been friendlier and more courteous. i think they are overworked and understaffed. all of the challenges we had I believe were due to poor management not necessarily the staff's ...

Weekend cruise - overall not positive experience. the room was weathered and worn No amenities in mini bar Rust all over in bathroom Tissues non existent. Room Attendant was best ever. Love cruising but this was a huge disappointment to us. We have travelled with RCCL; Celebrity and Azamara and never have we seen a room that was so weathered and of serious need of repair as we ...
