This cruise was chosen by a relative who desired an extended family cruise together, and was chosen largely based on the lower cost. I have worked for both Carnival and Princess Cruise Lines, and have cruised with Royal Caribbean, Holland America and Disney. We have been on many cruises and the Escape does not measure up to other ships. The size of the ship is impressive, but the food quality was very poor and the dinning room service was extremely slow.
