This was the first cruise for my family and I and we decided to start with Royal Caribbean since so many people told us how great they are. Unfortunately I did not enjoy much about this cruise. In short the customer service was lacking, the rooms smelled like pee and my curtains to the balcony had a huge hole, the entire ship had rust everywhere including my entire balcony, the food in the Windjammer was horrible, there were not very many activities for families on board and when we tried to do the bungee jump or toddler splash area they were always closed, they kids club was very inconvenient closing between the hours of 12-2pm and 5-7pm and as a first time cruiser nothing was ever explained to us. When we were docked in the Bahamas we were right next to a Disney cruise ship, the whole time we docked there were numerous staff members cleaning, painting, repairing and maintaining the Disney cruise ship. Not once the entire cruise did I see anyone maintaining the Royal Caribbean ship. So we have already booked our next cruise with Disney! I am very excited!
