Our first cruise, booked 2 wks prior to sailing just to visit Bermuda & see what other places we might one day revisit. Bermuda cancelled day 6. Jumped ship in Tortola to avoid 4.5 days of rough seas & gale force winds back to NYC.Had 2 Br Villa in The Haven. Unfortunately, out of about 200 people on deck 15 & 16 in The Haven, 20% were unruly, screaming, football throwing, hot tub hogging under 10 ...
I decided to book this cruise after seeing a great deal from Norwegian Cruise Line. I heard really good things about the family-friendly atmosphere on their ships, so I was excited to give it a try. However, my time onboard didn't quite match up to what I had expected.
I've never had issues with motion sickness before, but we hit some rough seas on the way from NYC to SC. It was pretty intense ...
Not a very good experience and we don't recommend this cruise ship to anyone. Food was mediocre to below average. Buffett was chaotic, unorganized and food was either chewy and or cold. Surpisingly the pizza was very good (thin crust) but there's so much pizza you can eat. Food at O'Sheehan's wasn't very good with the burger tasting like some type of mystery meat? I requested mine to be prepared ...
Bring a frequent NCL customer I have to say honestly that this was the worst cruises I ever experienced.
Our first day started out as usual. Everything was busy but nothing unusual. I signed up for cruise next based on my previous cruise experirnces with NCL while we waited for our cabin to be ready. When we got into our cabin we were upset to find that the previous cruisers trash was still in ...
Oh man, where do I start? The food was horrible. I think the best food was at the buffet which says a lot. Room service was by far the worst food. We visited three specialty dining restaurants. We went to the Italian one and food made my mom sick. then we went to the Brazilian steakhouse and they literally had three options and they were dry and flavorless. The hibachi restaurant I had high hopes ...
Jan 2, 2024 (10 day on a bermuda trip with no bermuda.) traveled from ca to ny to see bermuda and other islands. instead more days at sea with a boat way overcrowded with horrible food. They should have diverted us to another port instead of 3 more days at sea since bermuda was out. We could've gone back to dominican rep, st. Thomas or puerto rico! 3 days at sea when we left and 3 days at sea to ...
I have not been on many vacations in my life, so I was quite excited for a 12-day Christmas cruise. I don’t enjoy being away from home for very long, so I was a little unsure of how the cruise would be. My family insisted it would be fun, making promises of delicious food, fun activities, and as much diet soda I could want. Unfortunately, they were very, very wrong and what followed were 12 days ...
I took this cruise with my family and was very disappointed everyday the food selection was curry this and curry that most of the food was tasteless the buffet set up was very congested didn’t have much to choose from seemed like it was the same stuff over n over for 2 weeks, then I believe the Bingo was rigged because we played bingo it was over at 4:00 went to the room to find the daily planner ...
My family and I chose this cruise for the fantastic itinerary, lots of great islands that we already love and few we have not been to yet. We love the Caribbean and always have enjoyed going to St. Maarten and St. Thomas and beautiful St. John's, Antigua. We had never been to St. Kitts/Nevis nor the Tortola, British Virgin Islands. The excursions the ship had to offer looked great and we were ...
You have access to a small part of the ship altough it is a 5000 passengers vessel. A lot of place is taken up by the cabins, so the public spaces, inside and out, are really small and always really really crowded. A lot of people were sit on the carpet in public places. We were 4500 passengers when cruising, and when I think it could be more with triple and quadruple occupancy, I couldn't imagine ...
