Review of Margaritaville
Check in/Arrival
•Long drive to West Palm/Riviera Beach, FL so we spend money for a hotel night before.
•Parking is $22/day (total $44) & it’s valet only. So you pull up, you get out, & you rush to take your stuff out lol.
•The check in process has no order. It starts at 10:30 and stops at 4:00pm. Ship leaves 5-5:30pm. Do you stand around until you can start ...
Do you love the vibe of a "W" hotel? that Cool, casual yet classy ambiance. Then this is the ship for you. The ship itself is one of the most design forward ships I've ever been on. The art, the interior design all sort of take your breath away. Food: Well- it was just "meh". I loved Eden and Le Voyage (both specialty Restaurants) but the main dining room often was a bit of a let down. ...
I originally selected a Baltic cruise 2 1/2 years ago. Covid prevented us from taking it in 2021. So, I did some research and selected the 10-night Panama Canal cruise with the Volendam. I am so glad I did!
First of all, the Volendam was beautiful! It has had a very nice refresh. The new carpets in different venues were beautiful. Everyone was so friendly. It also seemed to have more ...
Just got off the ship. Very good cruise!
The Good:
Service and people were great. We found several great bartenders on the ship, specifially Mansur and Will (Coconuts), Ketut (Music Hall) and Hashitat?(Windjammer). They remembered us and our drink of choice and made our cruise much better. Service across the board was very good!
Windjammer is the best we've seen!
The ...
Very disappointed in this cruise. Virgin Voyages has attracted a lot of hype but couldn’t deliver on some really basic cruising necessities. Had to speak with Sailor Services on 4 out of 6 days to try and fix mistakes such as beverages being ordered but never provided (but still charged), random bottles of alcohol being charged to our room, and missing sailor loot. Every time we were made to feel ...
1st let me say I understand ALL cruise lines are making cuts due to financial losses. This was our 2nd cruise on NCL (1st since 2008). We have sailed on RCCL the last 3 cruises (Anthem (2), Oasis). I also understand personal preferences play a big part so these are our personal preferences.
Biggest disappointment was he food. NCL had a specialty dining special and we really enjoyed those 2 ...
I chose this cruise as a reason to get away by myself and avoid some of the holiday bustle. I've never traveled alone and was worried I'd hide in my room, but it was so easy to meet and chat with people.
Checking in, boarding, and leaving the ship was easy peasy. I did experience a minor hiccup on embarkation day with the shuttle back from mid-town Miami. We were told to meet back at the same ...
- Family of 5 on 5th cruise, first time on Carnival
- Stayed in Excel Suite 11359 - highly recommend - spacious room, balcony and bathroom, good privacy and noise free, also came with free room service, priority dining (always seated immediately), free laundry, priority embarkation/debarkation, soda package, access to Loft 19 area - all these made the trip very convenient and stress free. ...
Sailed out of Fort Laud port. The ship is different! The effectors show was amazing and the show girls show was one of the best shows on royal Caribbean. The ship is small/mid size not too big not too small of a ship. This ship was sailed during December and the holiday decoration was beautiful and creative! The lighting of the Christmas tree, seeing Santa clause, and music was absolutely ...
First, absolutely no form of structure. You could wait in a line for an hour, then someone walks straight to the front and the workers don’t care or say anything.
The ship was over packed. You couldn’t go to any one the restaurants without waiting 15-30 minutes.
You can’t walk around the ship without wedging your way through hoards of people. Everyone seemed to smoke weed as well, so there ...
